Cherries And Gingham Mmmmm

Mmmm what I love, red, cherries and Gingham all in one creation. I had a real good old play today, as you can see i've found something new to do with my hearts and flowers, which I use quite often to embellish my cards. I covered them in Versamark and then embossed with holographic powder, fabulous sparkle. I adore penny black stamps, and this is one of my favourites, I have used glossy accents on the cherries, but it doesn't show very well. But live they look scrumptious.

So I'm entering this into the DT Call over at Penny Black At Allsorts , I adore Penny Black critters and the challenge is monthly, it's worth popping over and taking a look, there's fab prizes up for grabs too.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:-

1. Penny Black At Allsorts - Glitter and Glitz

2. Penny Black Saturday - week 114 - Feeling Fruity

3. Crafty Catz - challenge 45 - Animals

4. Simon Says Stamp - Summertime Blues

Anyhow I went this morning for my annual blood tests, as a couple of year ago I had half of my Thyroid removed, due to nodules being there. They had haemorrhaged (had to check the spelling on that word), and they gave me a 1/10 chance of cancer, after the operation they told me the half that was left in, also had nodules on but if the tests came back cancer free on the part removed, they would leave the rest until the nodules got bigger. I had my review at the doctors aswell and I was so pleased that the nodules have not grown enough yet to have anything done. So just awaiting blood results, but I feel fine, so I think all is well. Now are you asking, well why didn't they just remove the whole thing? My surgeon, who is very good, will not put anyone on life term medication, which is what I will have to have when it's all removed, unless it's completely neccassary.

So after having a very good day at the zoo yesterday and good news at the doctors, playing with my crafting goodies today was a real joy. Even the kids are being well behaved. I just seem to have had just a rough time of it lately with family matters that when you get a really good day like today you just want to tell someone Lol !

So I hope everyone else has a good week

Happy crafting

Tracy x

Hi Tracy

I'm not even gonna tell you why I deleted the comment above - OK yes, I will to give you a laugh, forgot which chellenge I was on !!!!!!!!!!!!

Firstly please the zoo trip went well. Secondaly please the thyroid tests were OK, a real relief for you - mine are due next month again and I know how lousy that problem can make you feel and beleive me you are better off without the need for the medications.

I love cards with ginghsam, always gives such a lovely crisp feel to a card and your is gorgeous with the cherries.

Thank you so much for joining us at Penny Black at Allsorts Challenge this month and good luck.
