Autumn Leaves

Well I have never done this before, used two stamped images this way. I also have never tried to make a scene before, like I have with these leaf stamps. And just look at that backing paper, it reminds me of a wallpaper my mum had in our kitchen when I was a kid.

This is for the following challenges:-
1. Penny Black Saturday - week 122 - 2 or more images
2. Penny Black At Allsorts - October challenge - Colours Autumn
3. Crafty Cardmakers - challenge 31 - Step away from the square (hope a rectangle DL counts, if not please delete)
4. A Pocket Full Of Posies - challenge # 8 - Autumn Leaves
5. Totally Papercrafts - challenge # 38 - Autumn

Just got back from Minor Injuries A&E at our walk-in centre, as my daughter Jodie has sprained the muscle and ligament in her thumb, and has had to have it strapped up. She did it first thing this morning on the way to school on the school bus, she was holding one of the rails and someones bag handle get wrapped round her thumb and when the young girl walked off it pulled Jodie's thumb back.
School was very good and put ice on it as soon as she went to first Aid, then when the swelling wasn't going down and the pain wasn't easing, called me to pick her up.
They were really quick at A&E to say she had x-ray's too, in and out within the hour. Strapped it up and told to take Paracetamol for the pain.
Jodie's fine, but sad she can't do P.E. for at least a week.

Not many days go by in our house without some kind of drama Lol !

Recipe:-
Stamps - Penny Black, Daisy & Dandelion Sentiment,
Papers - Papermanis Capsule,
Colouring Mediums - Distress Inks,
Embellishments - Ribbon, flowers, stickles,

Have a great weekend and Thank you for popping by my blog
Happy crafting
Tracy x

Gorgeous card,Tracy....it's turned out beautifully....always fun to try something new.
Your A&E is obviously a lot more efficient than ours....my 4 yr old neice spent 6 hours waiting for a bad cut to be stitched up!

Hi Tracy

Sorry I haven't been around to see you this week .. .. all commenting (except for challenge entries) banned in the house of hearts until after my fair on Sunday.

I must admit it has made a big difference to my stock boxes .. .. but I am missing everyone's creations and what they are up to.

Sorry to read about your daughter. Just shows how easily these things can happen. I bet that means no washing up for a while too!!!

As for your card. It is lovely. I love the little scene you have created with those gorgeous hedgies and I know what you mean about the backing paper .. .. my late MIL still had very similar wallpaper in her kitchen up to a couple of years ago!!!

Thank you for sharing with Penny Black at Allsorts this month.

Love Jules xx

p.s. Hope your back is sorted now.

Hiya Tracy - thank you so much for leaving your kind comments and becoming a follower - and Wow - you're a Leeds girl too!!
Love this card and the way you have built up the scene - such cute little characters too. The BP is fab., and yes it does look a bit like retro wallpaper, but I love it!
Hugs,Sylvia xxx
PS: Do hope that Jodie's injury heals quickly - that must have been so painful.

Your card is very pretty and I like the 'wallpaper' too. Quite often I see papers which remind me of my childhood.
