Popcorn And Golf

It's time for another challenge at Oldie But A Goodie, this week it's our lovely Debs turn to host, Her theme this week is "One For The Boys". So get your male stamps out. Head over to the main challenge blog to check all the details of the new challenge and to see what our lovely girls have created for your inspiration. We are sponsored this week by Stampelkallan. Remember to be in with a chance of winning You must use a rubber stamp (not a digi) and it must be at least 6 months old.

My winner for the blog hop last challenge is Lynne In NI, congratulations, please e-mail me and I'll send you your prize.

I have made this card for my eldest Son's Birthday in October, he doesn't play golf, the image is for a joke between me and him. We can't always do much in the way of embellishments for male cards, usually it's buttons, stars that kind of thing. So I made a golf ball and added the little stamp you get with this golfing Popcorn Bear stamp, Souffle sat on a Golf Tee.

This is for the following challenges:-
1. Charisma Cardz - challenge # 37 - Sky
2. Cute Card Thursday - challenge 182 - Anything Goes
3. Creatalicious - challenge # 26 - Anything Goes
4. Papertake Weekly - Creature Comforts

Stamps - Popcorn The Bear,
Papers - The swirly one I made myself using a stamp and a Big And Juicy ink pad,
Colouring Mediums - Distress Inks,
Tools - Nesties, Cuttlebug, Swiss dots embossing folder, border punch, embossing powder clear, heat gun,
Embellishments - gems,

Have a good week, and thanks for popping by my blog.

With Love

Today see's a new challenge at Die Cut Dreams, and the theme this time is "Flower Power", you have to have a least 5 flowers on your creation. But we know how us crafters like to use flowers on our creations, so shouldn't be a problem. Pop over to the challenge blog and see the rest of the teams fabulous creations too, and get loads of inspiration.

I love it when my hubby goes for dog food at the Range as he treats me to something new for crafting, well I was with him and he actually picked well, I didn't put it back and swap what he chose for something else, (I usually do LOL!) He bought me this cute Fizzy Moon stamp and the border punch, and believe it or not the punch which is a Fiskars was only £1.99.

I would like to enter this into:-

Papers - Polkadoodles,

Sir Stampalot "Freebie Friday"

Sir Stampalot are promoting a new weekly feature, starting tomorrow. It’ll be called ‘Freebie Friday’ and will be sent via their email newsletter, so if you want to join in, you’ll need to sign up for the newsletter before end of day today (follow link below):-

http://www.onlineitools.com/nl/nl-subscribe.php?bus_id=3091&list_id=1

Alternatively, you can go to the Sir Stampalot web site and sign up at the "Stay in Touch" "Sign up to Smudges" link on the left hand side of the home page.

A Couple Of Cuties

It's the first of the month so that means a new challenge for Sir Stampalot. And our theme this month is "it's a frame up", so you need to use a frame on your creation. I had to use this Sarah Kay as it worked so well with this frame I made, I just love Sarah Kay, they colour beautifully, I love the details in these stamps. If you want more inspiration for frames pop by our challenge blog and you will find the gorgeous creations from the rest of the team. So now for the prize kindly donated by Sir Stampalot, wouldn't you just love to get your hands on this:-

This is also for the following challenges:-
1. Creative Card Crew - Anything Goes
2. Paperplay challenges - week 35 - Make yourown flowers
3. MAWTT - challenge 114 - Handmade flowers
4. By The Cute & Girly - september - All things bright & beautiful

Now for the challenge at Penny Black @ Allsorts

This month at Penny Black @ Allsorts the theme is "Get ahead for christmas", so here's your chance to get a start on some christmas cards. And you know that the prizes are always brilliant too. Check out the challenge blog as you will find some fabulous inspiration from the rest of the DT.
I won this slapstick stamp over at Allsorts challenge and it's a gorgeous one to work with.
OK I know , don't all shout at once, my Penguins are so wrong. My 5 year old Bobby is obsessed with animals, he watches animal programes and has loads of books. So when he saw this card he said so sweetly, "It's ok Mum, you can give me this card for Christmas seen as you've done it wrong". Well I looked and I looked, then asked what I had done wrong, he said "real Penguins have black beaks and feet, only Penguins in the film Madagascar have orange feet and beaks". I was dumb founded, then he went on to tell me "Emperor Penguins have a little orange stripe on the side of there beaks though". Where does he store all that information in that little brain of his. Very silly of me as we go to a Zoo or Safari Park at least twice a year and then thinking about it they do have black beaks and feet.

This is for the following challenges:-
1. Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes - Hop
2. Crafty Creations - challenge # 134 - Dies 'N' Punches
3. Fab 'N' Funky - challenge # 88 - Go Mad With Embossing
4. Just Tracy's Crafts - spetember - Things With Wings - ( I googled penguins and this is what is says:-Penguins, like all birds, have wings. The difference is that these wings help them swim, not fly)

I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for their advice about my lost computer files, my hubby took it to PC world and after he told me all the jargon talk (please do not ask me to repeat it let alone understand it), it came down to the fact that they couldn't retrieve any of the lost files, but they did retrieve my photo's. So I am pleased about that as you can never get those moments back can you! I keep trying to write down what I had, but just can't remember half of them, probably will when I need one. A couple of girls have already sent me some Kenny K, so as for the rest I have resided myself to starting afresh. It will be a bit like a spring clean I suppose.

Thank you for popping by my blog
