Greyfriars Bobby

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Based On A Film Title'

A bit of a sad film I chose I know, but it sticks in my mind, I saw it growing up and I remember crying at it.  But when it upsets your children it sticks in your mind more for that.  Bobby hasn't actually seen it and I wouldn't let him see it either.  You see he got it as a reading book at school, and I thought he might be OK as it wasn't the dog that died, nope Bobby cried nearly all way through, then he asked "why would somebody be so mean and write such a sad book for me to read",  aww bless him.

Kept my card masculine, just automatically started making it for a male, think it's because the film is based on a man and his dog, so a simple look for this one, I know not my usual style, not much in the way of embellies too.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Here is our sponsor :-

I used a Nicecrane image called A Dog Day which you can find here

Recipe:-
Stamps - as above, Sentiment by Flonz,
Papers - LOTV country gent,
Colouring Mediums - distress inks,
Embellishments - button, twine,

Thanks for popping by my blog.
Happy crafting
Tracy x

My eldest used to be the same as Bobby with Lassie movies, really old b/w ones.

I do love this set of dog images although for some reason I don't have this one, will have to check with Ignacio.

The colours and DP you have used compliment it all beautifully.

Hope you have a lovely weekend, guess it's footie training and so on.
