With A Cherry On The Top

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Helene's turn to host and she would like to see 'With A Cherry On The Top' so you can feature any fruit or berries on your creation.  Loved this as I could get my red gingham and polka dots out, my two favourite patterns.  You can't see it in the picture but I've glazed my cherries which makes them look quite effective.  Found the cherry brad in my stash, don't know where I got them from but came in real handy for this card.

Just A Snooze

Good Morning, well it's been a lovely week weather wise, I have spent a lot of time in the garden, cutting lawns and painting garden furniture, all ready for the summer.  But I'm here as It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Kath's turn to host and she would like to see 'Red/White/Blue'

I got my House Mouse stamps out for this challenge, knowing with this image { House Mouse HMJR1099 Poppy Cot}  I'd definitely be using red for the poppy.  Incorporating blue wasn't quite as easy so I did it by using blue for my embellies

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Our sponsor this week is The Hobby House.

When We Were Young

Good Morning, these Saturday mornings sure do come round quick, so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week our theme is  'Ribbon & Roses'
I used a Lili Of The Valley stamp, and this one always reminds me of my Mam and Dad as they have been together since they were aged 11 and 13. So I made an Anniversary card for them, and to incorporate the theme I chose some romantic papers with roses on, a large dusky pink bow with a rose on.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

All Girly!

Good morning and welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'One For The Girls' So I went for it and did a super girly creation. I used a Penny Black image and coloured it to match the paper and was pleased with how it turned out.  The paper is from a pad which was a birthday gift, thank you Brenda. I added these pretty butterflies which are made from a Signature die from Joanna Sheen. I love colouring this sweet image.

We have sponsorship this Month from

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Birthdays'
I didn't intend for this card to be layers of  embossed card, but I quite like it.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Crafty Ribbons, Be Creative, and Stix 2, Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

HELP Needed
I wonder if any of you lovely bloggers out there could help me, when I go on my blog there is a square with a picture of a cat and a message saying 'click for photos', I don't know how it got there and I don't know how to get rid of it.  I have tried to click on it but nothing happens.  Any ideas are welcomed. Thank you in advance.

Does My Bum Look Big In This?

Good Morning everyone,  It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week Brenda is hosting and the theme is 'April Fools/Humerous'
I struggled at first to find a stamp for this theme, then looked through everything and found a set by Acid Drops & Whatnots, now I don't know where they've come from or how I got them but they just about saved my skin for this challenge.  After using the patterned mirror card I kept it simple, as it is so nice, I didn't want to hide it.  I did add some glamour dust to her hat, shoes and the behind part of her costume for a bit of sparkle but it isn't showing very well.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
