Springtime

It's the first Sunday of March and so that means a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Close To Nature',  I adore Sarah Kay and this is my favourite stamp from the range.  I used a mixture of dies some from the Tattered Lace Side Stepper die set which has proved to be really useful as it's such a big set, from the set I used the bow and cut it twice, the roses, rectangles,  sentiment and butterfly is also from the set.  The fence is a Marianne designs die and I love using it.

We have sponsorship this Month from

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

Challenges I would like to enter:-
1. Addicted To Stamps - #143 - Pastel Colours
2. Dragonfly Dreams - #March - Girly with die cut/punch

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Anything Goes'  I'm using one of the new stamps from Penny Black called Red Blush, but I went yellow for friendship.  After I coloured the rose I put little droplets on, to represent dew using Glossy Accents.  For the background I embossed using a Tattered Lace folder and highlighted it with some Gilding Wax.  It was my first time using Gilding wax and I need a bit more practice, but I quite like the effect.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Marianne Designs, Fantastic Ribbons, Chalkola Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

Now if you would like to be a GDT for us, all you need to do is make a creation to fit the theme following our rules.

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

Two real stunners Tracy, I always love SK images and this is probably on of my favourites and it's all so beautfully embellished with the roses and lovely bow.

Onto your PB creation and such lovely treatment of the Rose and the little water droplets. And the gilding wax really lifts the pattern of the embossing background.

Have a good Sunday.

Two lovely cards. I especially like the way you have arranged the die cuts on the first one - she looks as if she's just walked through the gate into the garden
