I started by doing an inky background in Distress Oxides, then stamped the background strip first in light blue, it has circles in it which I hoped looked like falling snow. Then in a darker blue I stamped the words which are lots of Christmas words. I then added some glitter to the word Christmas to finish it off.</p> <p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtD39n_t0MZnHiutlb9nUeaXoMkYbjxCLzkODbiaWvuYbVpc7x07VAODmH3TRfSOBsiVPRzEkAjem-JlWX-v-EOmjMIXE7hEYpi4f8pexCInC8gCIQDlPci985KvVCji863JrE3wKm3NM9GsQMDHmOK8cCAPwnQDq1fUUAX-QGn860IL8lFFln700wmQ/s1826/thumbnail%20(39).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1826" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjtD39n_t0MZnHiutlb9nUeaXoMkYbjxCLzkODbiaWvuYbVpc7x07VAODmH3TRfSOBsiVPRzEkAjem-JlWX-v-EOmjMIXE7hEYpi4f8pexCInC8gCIQDlPci985KvVCji863JrE3wKm3NM9GsQMDHmOK8cCAPwnQDq1fUUAX-QGn860IL8lFFln700wmQ/w378-h640/thumbnail%20(39).jpg" width="378" /></a></div>For my second card I used the stamp <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-tree-of-knowledge-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">The Tree Of The Knowledge</a>, starting with the background using Distress Oxides and a mask I created some hills, I used a mask to create a sun in yellow and orange Distress Oxides. I then moved onto the sky using a cloud mask, before stamping my main image. I stamped the tree in Versafine Clair, and with a white gel pen coloured in the fruit/blossoms. I added the sentiment to the bottom.<div><br /></div><div>Thank you for looking</div><div>Happy crafting</div><div>Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-41477116877607391742022-09-05T07:00:00.007+01:002022-09-05T07:00:00.223+01:00Making Balloons From Trees<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5PGEoSMxSngHji4ZSX_LXUjnbcfu2wjdYqJFwV9TEtoNkI58MhnsjXUQIEdd6z7k6RyKwmEWsl7S2Ks6RlhCJqCvm_f38susD9w__H85RiWnwq1QcMdlY7ecCDgE0L9xACJPsdfwz6BF3n9Gcx-gHBjBTki66qOCtVuAfr1qCuhbi0h1DfFP_emnXCA/s1080/thumbnail%20(37).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="473" data-original-width="1080" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5PGEoSMxSngHji4ZSX_LXUjnbcfu2wjdYqJFwV9TEtoNkI58MhnsjXUQIEdd6z7k6RyKwmEWsl7S2Ks6RlhCJqCvm_f38susD9w__H85RiWnwq1QcMdlY7ecCDgE0L9xACJPsdfwz6BF3n9Gcx-gHBjBTki66qOCtVuAfr1qCuhbi0h1DfFP_emnXCA/w640-h280/thumbnail%20(37).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>Here are some samples from last months shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a>. Well I had fun making this card, I started with a strip of card and using four colours in Versafine Clair I stamped up the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/slim-word-strip-2-rubber-stamp-sheet-a4.html">Word Strip 2</a> Birthday, to create the balloons I used the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/from-nature-2-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">From Nature 2</a>, I took the smallest leaf and stampede it in each of the colours above the stamp strip. Using gel pens in the same colour I drew a triangle on the base of the leaf to turn it into a balloon. For my first creation I used '<a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/o-is-for-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">O Is For</a>' , you get three stamps with this set, the main image , a small oak tree and a verse. I used the small oak tree to build up a background on a Distress Oxide background, I stamped the little tree using Versafine Clair in a green. Using the same inky background I did it on a die cut circle. I stamped the main image and added detail with some gilding flakes then matt and layered.<p></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8JXaTYtxydesVeWpBqWGLYzYfnjdtGPqU3j2C0KF8G-464vcKHr0femk95bkNNA02UUIkYkPBuphMT5g_-LeRjooGYuqIpwmYmPxLljgsnHMP-aLWXo-SuY30gWW5Zl81EOnP3ZBPhOudCJwVc2qNjMvRzLJbcpuJiN8RQKHVV-WCcCeqlAGlNBIYkw/s2754/IMG_8782.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2653" data-original-width="2754" height="385" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg8JXaTYtxydesVeWpBqWGLYzYfnjdtGPqU3j2C0KF8G-464vcKHr0femk95bkNNA02UUIkYkPBuphMT5g_-LeRjooGYuqIpwmYmPxLljgsnHMP-aLWXo-SuY30gWW5Zl81EOnP3ZBPhOudCJwVc2qNjMvRzLJbcpuJiN8RQKHVV-WCcCeqlAGlNBIYkw/w400-h385/IMG_8782.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><p><br /></p>My second creation is made using <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/freedom-flower-rubber-stamp-sheet-chocolate-block.html">Freedom Flower</a>, another set with a main image then two worker stamps. I started by creating the box to put the notelets in and as you can see used the Harebell hero (main image) stamp for the front, the notelets are made using a worker (smaller) stamp from each set. I masked the edges of the cards off, then using three colours of Distress oxides did an ombre background, I stamped the images in the centre, then matted and layered each card. For the envelopes I took a circle mask and added some ink to each corner of the envelopes. I then stamped one of the worker stamps over the top.<div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC5BCV988yyoJMJEIVdqW_TqiC7dmpvoGWF-h1oAPDBGLf8UUTfeh-rr-BvrS6V5xDdcuVEi6gwHkl54F8l_SGEDbxt6ZDAAcTgy6aP4iZO5dnd_RVPI0kLfBdWeLP0PTpkDub9y9hEJ14ACUJldBW_oxPq-NEiP5_plhYhnCfaQkrI3jABeBM7C-sQw/s3163/IMG_8774.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3163" data-original-width="2321" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiC5BCV988yyoJMJEIVdqW_TqiC7dmpvoGWF-h1oAPDBGLf8UUTfeh-rr-BvrS6V5xDdcuVEi6gwHkl54F8l_SGEDbxt6ZDAAcTgy6aP4iZO5dnd_RVPI0kLfBdWeLP0PTpkDub9y9hEJ14ACUJldBW_oxPq-NEiP5_plhYhnCfaQkrI3jABeBM7C-sQw/w470-h640/IMG_8774.jpg" width="470" /></a></div><br /><p>I absolutely love this image from<a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/harebell-butterfly-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html"> Harebell Butterfly</a> set that I used for my second creation, I started this one by stamping my image then using Distress Oxide and a stencil brush I added some ink around the image, I coloured the image using Aqua pencils then adding water to blend. I very lightly drew with a pencil a rectangle with a ruler to frame it. I went around the pencil line free hand so's not to have an exact straight line with a fine liner. Using the Oxides I did a matching backing paper to matt and layer on.</p><p>Thank you for looking, I will be coming back at the end of the month with a couple more samples.</p><p>Happy crafting</p><p>Tracy x</p></div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-88324999679095938852022-08-05T07:00:00.001+01:002022-08-05T07:00:00.219+01:00Monochrome With A Red Heart<p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt7wtt0R_4eVZIwNNxGFKQBigWudRl_W6pdDQ0z4dwSD30CuQwVxcbd8fIlhICzAnhlwcrgx3y8YAovPRKXZpDdcPwKhrXnrnzMZKJ8k5ScpXHv-KNrTPYuJzwrMw7z5dpYrNfXxS36Nt4u1QPmh5ExWJrTx1tBB9Ztl2H8X6j4U92aoXA0j8JKRF41Q/s2891/IMG_8783.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1894" data-original-width="2891" height="421" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgt7wtt0R_4eVZIwNNxGFKQBigWudRl_W6pdDQ0z4dwSD30CuQwVxcbd8fIlhICzAnhlwcrgx3y8YAovPRKXZpDdcPwKhrXnrnzMZKJ8k5ScpXHv-KNrTPYuJzwrMw7z5dpYrNfXxS36Nt4u1QPmh5ExWJrTx1tBB9Ztl2H8X6j4U92aoXA0j8JKRF41Q/w640-h421/IMG_8783.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">These are some samples from the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque's </a>July's shows, there were lots of gorgeous stamps to use. I loved making this first card as I think that Monochrome is so effective. I stamped the flowers which is from the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/fragrant-honeysuckle-the-rose-tree-wisteria-lane-unmounted-rubber-stamps-multi-buy.html">The Rose Tree</a> and embossed with clear embossing powder, then did the same with the Bee and the sentiment (which is from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/birthday-words-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Birthday Words</a>). We had lots of fabulous stamps to use and my first creation was made using the stamp set Paisley Elephant. I started by doing an inky background then stamping around the edge with versamark a paisley worker stamp and embossing in gold powder. I stamped the main image of the elephant and stamped it again as a mirror image using a gel plate. I coloured them in distress inks, fussy cut them and them mounted them onto my background.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5KRAgsmWBB8iGS6agzo4s4oMcEd40GPGYQ_ocT5Ka8rqzj2wCcYb9RqPk07NgqB8jhDjCdzrIDvuttyVDVntu4cpvFPdg-gPHSeHsgvAyVLnQsd0rn7VdwAeMjV_1cW0aSrg4ieOTmn8seE22iS_Vc03ksgM1Wyzo1N2M7HTrtAdpmjmzt7qKj4sNhw/s1330/thumbnail%20(34).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1330" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5KRAgsmWBB8iGS6agzo4s4oMcEd40GPGYQ_ocT5Ka8rqzj2wCcYb9RqPk07NgqB8jhDjCdzrIDvuttyVDVntu4cpvFPdg-gPHSeHsgvAyVLnQsd0rn7VdwAeMjV_1cW0aSrg4ieOTmn8seE22iS_Vc03ksgM1Wyzo1N2M7HTrtAdpmjmzt7qKj4sNhw/w520-h640/thumbnail%20(34).jpg" width="520" /></a></div><br /><p>For my second creation I used a stencil to create backgrounds, first on my base card then on my topper. Using a corner stamp from Christmas Tweetings I stamped them back to back and then facing each other to make this image. I rounded the corners and matted and layered to finish off.</p><p>See you for my next post</p><p>Happy crafting</p><p>Tracy x</p>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-67223663903499831402022-06-27T07:00:00.009+01:002022-06-27T07:00:00.217+01:00Letters & Numbers<p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_x4wAwmV49Z3eguTO7IisF3qkysN9Jgf5EKXQZlTYdQFDT-3_AOSpoSYyWnUH2IPWi0YTJiPH43ZnD45r4SuQfwPWwvb_kyJQWHX9zisR_XC8ZXPpgMhPO3ngOjzFYxGwXHG2g8JBMMfhitAx3p9GyJP7GxUBw2B0EjsQXZwZK2jYdv_AO9LWU7WELg/s1533/thumbnail%20(27).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1533" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_x4wAwmV49Z3eguTO7IisF3qkysN9Jgf5EKXQZlTYdQFDT-3_AOSpoSYyWnUH2IPWi0YTJiPH43ZnD45r4SuQfwPWwvb_kyJQWHX9zisR_XC8ZXPpgMhPO3ngOjzFYxGwXHG2g8JBMMfhitAx3p9GyJP7GxUBw2B0EjsQXZwZK2jYdv_AO9LWU7WELg/w450-h640/thumbnail%20(27).jpg" width="450" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I'm here again with my final post for this month showing you creations from May's shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a> shown on Create & craft T.V.. And oh wow I just love tyhis first stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/alium-collage-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Alium collage</a>, maybe that's because I grow them in my garden. To create this card I stamped the main image, then using Brusho's I sprinkled purple over the flower part of the image, then sprinkled green over the stem part. I stamped a sentiment from the set and made it into a tag and added some string to add it to my image. Then just mounted it up onto black card, this is a simple way to add colour.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLU0r-tdO3yhu0ZLClwh7-v7wgA2X5QqiQmn6erQZvPbsRL3Qp9ZaqWjN3RY19TLDi4A_JgYO1lCGiX9-EYxm8KHYlhA-eLNmR3NTRn8_liNSzUfXhozicFsIaNKGRW6bQ-EJIubQQ6x9Q0-Mbov8vXtP64B0Mq5D9UcIGMrjaGuoJt4olpdMHZFCyCA/s1512/thumbnail%20(28).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1512" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLU0r-tdO3yhu0ZLClwh7-v7wgA2X5QqiQmn6erQZvPbsRL3Qp9ZaqWjN3RY19TLDi4A_JgYO1lCGiX9-EYxm8KHYlhA-eLNmR3NTRn8_liNSzUfXhozicFsIaNKGRW6bQ-EJIubQQ6x9Q0-Mbov8vXtP64B0Mq5D9UcIGMrjaGuoJt4olpdMHZFCyCA/w458-h640/thumbnail%20(28).jpg" width="458" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This next creation is quite different for me, I started with an inky background using Oxide inks. All the stamps on this are from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/just-useful-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Just Useful</a>, so I started with an Inky background in Oxides, then I stamped the numbers in the centre of the card in black and a notebook edge along the top. Taking brown ink I stamped some splodges around the outer edge, Using some Gilding flake glue I added some to the top edge of the card, then to the numbers then dotted some around the edge, then added the Gilding flakes. Love using the Flakes for that bit of luxury. All that was left was to mount it onto some black card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Well that's me now for this month, see you next month for more Chocolate Baroque makes.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Happy crafting</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-4547765037982264352022-06-17T07:00:00.010+01:002022-06-17T07:00:00.232+01:00Nature In Ink<p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg19m6gYZX-yq9bSbxz7gCiuKdctxbXJ6HZzmhdQNpKDrJ4O0MEmnFf6b6Lk2r2N00esSRvRVvwjBHagfQtjFzObfetqNZMH7X8-_4y3xxpIwjkf4sAZoQiqwg-aUUnJVhAnZaf09Ix4CcLxzfxfcxABv7RNK3vwQrtQ_Wftu43YDr-4BRENPTYSVB9gw/s1080/thumbnail%20(29).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="811" data-original-width="1080" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg19m6gYZX-yq9bSbxz7gCiuKdctxbXJ6HZzmhdQNpKDrJ4O0MEmnFf6b6Lk2r2N00esSRvRVvwjBHagfQtjFzObfetqNZMH7X8-_4y3xxpIwjkf4sAZoQiqwg-aUUnJVhAnZaf09Ix4CcLxzfxfcxABv7RNK3vwQrtQ_Wftu43YDr-4BRENPTYSVB9gw/w640-h480/thumbnail%20(29).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Here I am with my second post for this month for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a>, bringing you samples from May's shows on Create & Craft T.V.. In my first creation I used the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/fragile-wings-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Fragile Wings</a>, it's a really beautiful stamp set with a very good wood panel, which I've used several times with Inks. I used Ink sprays for my background, some were Mica sprays with some shimmer in. Therefore so that the image would show over the Mica I used embossing powder and for a nice subtle look went with white embossing powder. I stamped a sentiment and mounted it before adding it to my creation.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_D-ryYnf3OBJ1PzLkoTzshRxzyjg0iVTl4bvoTPdeor8P4lKZQO2nQq4q5JOKiaA2XY5k2aBl2IppddYH6o6RT_K-jG9KASHvEkkigtpYvahN28vkoSIcXy2T3QFfr-bOlJ3QlOBGtopmdoObue80IO7-pnU83DecSd3s5QkByJzSKrPugjmL8Ysj8g/s1080/thumbnail%20(25).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="826" data-original-width="1080" height="490" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj_D-ryYnf3OBJ1PzLkoTzshRxzyjg0iVTl4bvoTPdeor8P4lKZQO2nQq4q5JOKiaA2XY5k2aBl2IppddYH6o6RT_K-jG9KASHvEkkigtpYvahN28vkoSIcXy2T3QFfr-bOlJ3QlOBGtopmdoObue80IO7-pnU83DecSd3s5QkByJzSKrPugjmL8Ysj8g/w640-h490/thumbnail%20(25).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">For this piece I chose my Ink colours in both Distress Oxides and Versafine Clair, getting the colours as near as I could. So the background with the leaves on I stamped with Versafine Clairs, all I did using <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/not-more-flowers-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Not More Flowers</a> I took a couple of different leaves and added two inks to each stamp making the image multi toned. I then mounted that background onto a coloured background which was inked with oxides. I used a gold Posca pen to edge the background. I created the strip using <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/slim-word-strip-1-rubber-stamp-sheet-a4.html">Slim word Strip 1</a> with the Nature words on it, stamping in brown Versafine Clair and then embossed on top of an Inky background created with Distress Oxides. I edged the strip again with gold posca pen.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I will be back with a final post for this month near the end of the month.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Happy crafting</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-61356903897227594842022-06-06T07:00:00.003+01:002022-06-06T07:00:00.200+01:00Fragile Wings & Petals<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh74sTxCTzaXGW51zJo0XaE_nTfJMhya7xyb21_l8Lz6l0HfSDdBCf-7q6-AbjqM2Mv11JECwkCV_VBjJWOhoX61ekFqUtCf1nKKEoukVlF8eqPeT29PVSrM_Zmfqz2plLTkVVe5amz-NiLoiF1bR8mPiDWJHEtn3NPzCBUDqNHW7hDUbD8lKpnmktELw/s1096/thumbnail%20(30).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1096" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh74sTxCTzaXGW51zJo0XaE_nTfJMhya7xyb21_l8Lz6l0HfSDdBCf-7q6-AbjqM2Mv11JECwkCV_VBjJWOhoX61ekFqUtCf1nKKEoukVlF8eqPeT29PVSrM_Zmfqz2plLTkVVe5amz-NiLoiF1bR8mPiDWJHEtn3NPzCBUDqNHW7hDUbD8lKpnmktELw/w630-h640/thumbnail%20(30).jpg" width="630" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">These are creations from May's T.V. Shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a>, there were lots of gorgeous stamps to use. For my first creation I used the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/fragile-wings-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Fragile Wings</a>, for my base card I had used the wood grain stamp from the set on top of an Oxide inky background. for my main image I stamped the Butterfly on another oxide inky background. With watercolour pencils I coloured the butterfly and shaded the circles too. I also shaded around the the image with a charcoal pencil, smudging it for shading. I glittered the wings for a bit of sparkle. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8RHRahE7LnMNC-N7Wzowj_qJQAmVgBx6bmzSM1QF1xCNK3CkiO9OZgiRcLegN8J0plZI4cz-o0pDUuAXQIaNV4Mk-4g2Hqv7NxMk63igFQIYf6E08Q0rl1ffeiEoEeHzNh6mNiVFuN_r-UP4Y9gzjH_6lJaK8wJzIaoDfGWobxfpA7oXl-h2OQsa0wQ/s1338/thumbnail%20(26).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1338" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi8RHRahE7LnMNC-N7Wzowj_qJQAmVgBx6bmzSM1QF1xCNK3CkiO9OZgiRcLegN8J0plZI4cz-o0pDUuAXQIaNV4Mk-4g2Hqv7NxMk63igFQIYf6E08Q0rl1ffeiEoEeHzNh6mNiVFuN_r-UP4Y9gzjH_6lJaK8wJzIaoDfGWobxfpA7oXl-h2OQsa0wQ/w517-h640/thumbnail%20(26).jpg" width="517" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This card I made using a product that's quite new to me, I'm just getting the feel of it and experimenting with it, my new product is Gilding Flakes, I know they have been around for ever but I thought I would like to try a new product and that's what I picked up from the craft store. So let's start with the stamp set used for this creation <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/ace-card-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Ace Card</a>. For the base card I used gilding flake glue and smudge the glue around the edge with a sponge, then applied the flakes over the top of a stamped edge from the set.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Now for the main image, I stamped it out then coloured it with Alcohol markers. I used gilding flake glue and put a thin line around the edge of the image and on parts of the foliage etc.... then dotted some random dots of flakes around the image. Using a gold posca pen I edged the whole piece of card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I had fun using these stamps, I hope you enjoy seeing them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Happy crafting</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-17531335866787941082022-05-28T07:00:00.008+01:002022-05-28T07:00:00.218+01:00Butterflies And Blooms<p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXOU4BXdNqsq3pr_bz5c-hqPB5LNoHYkpOXPL04Khe87qT8bPwVnPyPfe1fc0tUh0W7TjgW9ftm7tm2p3YucdhPbb4fdrv6OfuPcbrHKiRCsy5CuIkO8ijHOds2odhRHs7WWp2ruUv1yoSr_R2t4SAzgIigOCmEGYVpUKm-o5HticCZyYwM-7O_6E4dA/s1080/thumbnail%20(22).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1009" data-original-width="1080" height="598" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhXOU4BXdNqsq3pr_bz5c-hqPB5LNoHYkpOXPL04Khe87qT8bPwVnPyPfe1fc0tUh0W7TjgW9ftm7tm2p3YucdhPbb4fdrv6OfuPcbrHKiRCsy5CuIkO8ijHOds2odhRHs7WWp2ruUv1yoSr_R2t4SAzgIigOCmEGYVpUKm-o5HticCZyYwM-7O_6E4dA/w640-h598/thumbnail%20(22).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This is my final post for this month showing samples from April's shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a>, for my first creation I am using stamp sets <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/dream-petals-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Dream Petals</a> and <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/butterfly-mind-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Butterfly Mind.</a> So I started with a background, using Distress Oxides and stencil brushes gently built colour up in green and blue, I kept it soft and subtle. On some separate card I stamped out the flowers from the Dream Petals and cut them out. I always cut out first and colour afterwards as if using water colours the card doesn't cut as crisp when damp. I coloured with distress inks and when dry used a white gel pen to highlight in the centre of the flowers. I adhered them to the bottom of the card overlapping them.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I then stamped two butterflies and cut them out, I coloured them the same way and put them on as if fluttering above the flowers. Finally added a sentiment.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitRjNPCuoDJV-AGc5cF71-uX9WT5Yza0jIj8vMoSrXayIK9lUoUx_HplKar2emDLZculqG1SJExKDfndl_Y_zVhyJmX3o8fPabKMsBWUqZlhLr90JQSgtxQ2J3X2cNKTQUfA395Oqjsj7zNxQnFRNTas3r0Nh9trDbWK6RMK0Nwv8DSSb9eyvYb7oH3g/s1440/thumbnail.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1440" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEitRjNPCuoDJV-AGc5cF71-uX9WT5Yza0jIj8vMoSrXayIK9lUoUx_HplKar2emDLZculqG1SJExKDfndl_Y_zVhyJmX3o8fPabKMsBWUqZlhLr90JQSgtxQ2J3X2cNKTQUfA395Oqjsj7zNxQnFRNTas3r0Nh9trDbWK6RMK0Nwv8DSSb9eyvYb7oH3g/w480-h640/thumbnail.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">For this creation I used the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/life-is-wonderful-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Life Is Wonderful</a> with a sentiment from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/birthday-words-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Birthday Words</a>. I started with the background, I used Cadence Metallic Acrylic paints found <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/rainbow-bright-metallic-acrylic-paints-pack-of-7.html">here</a>, I sponged them in two different colours all over and left to dry. Meanwhile I stamped my image twice, and coloured the main one with Aqua pencils, I then cut out parts of the image, the butterfly and the biggest flower then coloured them. I decoupaged the the cut out pieces. and adde3d some glitter to the centre of the flowers and the butterfly wings.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I will be back with new posts next month, thank you for looking.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Happy crafting</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-49453983328205229222022-05-16T07:00:00.009+01:002022-05-16T07:00:00.220+01:00Mystical Weave<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNDNv2wUrdfIF8fhKDJAZLx7m2P2ooHVFENjs1yAei03NIhEN4vFKZBlDUQz5FpwKpNZHiHUi-OI1hDpnovjoHzmZy7sDmPK_YBqhMTENkBf0R7ngIX4EvSn8pxRdOWzdRvIrKnU0sA0EVnOk6cnNJ3Hr3LhecQ7EoE5xxcrvoMmBarodGvlo7Xpc0UA/s1499/thumbnail%20(23).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1499" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiNDNv2wUrdfIF8fhKDJAZLx7m2P2ooHVFENjs1yAei03NIhEN4vFKZBlDUQz5FpwKpNZHiHUi-OI1hDpnovjoHzmZy7sDmPK_YBqhMTENkBf0R7ngIX4EvSn8pxRdOWzdRvIrKnU0sA0EVnOk6cnNJ3Hr3LhecQ7EoE5xxcrvoMmBarodGvlo7Xpc0UA/w462-h640/thumbnail%20(23).jpg" width="462" /></a></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This is my second post for this month for my<a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/"> Chocolate Baroque</a> TV Shows, with samples from April's shows. My first creation is using the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/be-at-peace-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Be At Peace</a> stamp, I love this tree as to me it's quite mystical so I went for a purple inky background. After stamping my tree and colouring it I created some hills in the background and a sun, using posca pens did some blossoms on the ground. I splashed some water on my ink for interest, which then made it look more like a night sky and the water splashes then looked a bit like stars.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtzjj-pmoCTr-ZhPw-8-v8Q6gjpGb2DHapJSAh9oXMS4ppINojxtc-29UvDA9cC82AOOkeMjQKBn_SOLDxanEN4V727uRic7GijbJEOkpBmTZLEj6n5a91LsVxllpT5YzGAWoL54L8znVKy4bRhIdQCjQ1hOr2hV30Sx5WARL8zIMbLk7AfoW8bLYOGQ/s1501/thumbnail%20(24).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1501" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhtzjj-pmoCTr-ZhPw-8-v8Q6gjpGb2DHapJSAh9oXMS4ppINojxtc-29UvDA9cC82AOOkeMjQKBn_SOLDxanEN4V727uRic7GijbJEOkpBmTZLEj6n5a91LsVxllpT5YzGAWoL54L8znVKy4bRhIdQCjQ1hOr2hV30Sx5WARL8zIMbLk7AfoW8bLYOGQ/w461-h640/thumbnail%20(24).jpg" width="461" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>This piece is created using two different stamps - <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/CBCM0047.html">Open Weave </a>and <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/CBCM0046.html">Floral Weave</a>, So for the base of the card I took the Open Weave stamp and stamped several times to cover the background. Then using a green and a yellow ink I did splashes all over it for some colour which co-ordinates with the topper I made. For my topper I did some smooching with green and yellow Oxides then stamped my Floral weave stamp over the top. This is a simple card but sometimes they make good cards for people who don't like fussy things.<p></p><p>I will be back near the end of the month with another couple of creations, thank you for popping by.</p><p>Happy crafting</p><p>Tracy x</p>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-42167859695729300262022-05-05T07:00:00.020+01:002022-05-05T07:00:00.231+01:00Floral Delights<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCgy_5PvAg-FwfN4fy2iHATx-m1tKykJZjmqqgvM2p5QcdnOWgNIHJfCQUvIvUIrtAX9rXYTTcxNVgTMsv1XOjGZKanDIkO3i0-wId6ky4RLZ8gG6ilLuHZ02CeKlmiS17JCjlR4TLRRHtO0IcRQN_nzjOmX6Xyqu63s6jYzGiRtbvBr47jQVnju4NRw/s1080/thumbnail%20(21).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1042" data-original-width="1080" height="618" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCgy_5PvAg-FwfN4fy2iHATx-m1tKykJZjmqqgvM2p5QcdnOWgNIHJfCQUvIvUIrtAX9rXYTTcxNVgTMsv1XOjGZKanDIkO3i0-wId6ky4RLZ8gG6ilLuHZ02CeKlmiS17JCjlR4TLRRHtO0IcRQN_nzjOmX6Xyqu63s6jYzGiRtbvBr47jQVnju4NRw/w640-h618/thumbnail%20(21).jpg" width="640" /></a></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><span style="text-align: justify;">Hello, hope you are well, I am here today to show you some creations I made for the shows in April for </span><a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/" style="text-align: justify;">Chocolate Baroque </a><span style="text-align: justify;">for Create & Craft. For my first creation I did one of my favourite techniques just using two pencils of different degrees of hardness. I call it Grey Scale, if that is a proper term or it's just something I made up I have no idea. First I stamped my image called</span><span style="text-align: justify;"> </span><a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/life-is-wonderful-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html" style="text-align: justify;">Life Is Wonderful</a><span style="text-align: justify;">, then using pencils I shaded it, it's a subtle effect and quite effective.</span></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I then matted and layered the image using black, grey and white card stock.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3UVdVjIZFTPoPYwC73qU1xSgskzOCVhc-mKj83lCAg-U4iZU2UAj3ZSl9XIyFY5vL7WhGxjqp0tQGY5Ptsd0DS_lteIfiqOgTRP1LdrYEoKP5-_ZactwdeAQkg_BfoZhKgJXAHKpOPHN0DSLKUomsmqh3ZnFeDJGjYNtvQy-hvKqesP9q8OlP4vH1UA/s1485/thumbnail%20(20).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1485" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3UVdVjIZFTPoPYwC73qU1xSgskzOCVhc-mKj83lCAg-U4iZU2UAj3ZSl9XIyFY5vL7WhGxjqp0tQGY5Ptsd0DS_lteIfiqOgTRP1LdrYEoKP5-_ZactwdeAQkg_BfoZhKgJXAHKpOPHN0DSLKUomsmqh3ZnFeDJGjYNtvQy-hvKqesP9q8OlP4vH1UA/w466-h640/thumbnail%20(20).jpg" width="466" /></a></div>For my second card I went with the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/gerbera-and-friends-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Gerbera & friends</a> stamp set, using the Dandelion from the set. To start with I did the background using a blending brush and some ink, I faded the ink out into white space. I stamped my main image, then using a single seed head apparently they are called a 'Pappus' I stamped them floating in the air as if they were carried away by the wind. I highlighted my flowers and added glitter for some sparkle. Then all that was left was to matt and layer it.<p></p><p><span style="background-color: white;"><b style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 18px;"><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Recipe:-</span></b><br style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 18px;" /><span style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 13.6px;">Stamps - Chocolate Baroque - </span></span><a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/gerbera-and-friends-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Gerbera & friends</a> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/life-is-wonderful-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html" style="text-align: justify;">Life Is Wonderful</a><span style="text-align: justify;">,</span><span style="background-color: white;"><br style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 18px;" /><span style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 13.6px;">Colouring Medium - Distress Oxides, Versafine clair, Faber-Castell Aqua Pencils, Charcoal Pencils</span><br style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 18px;" /><span style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 13.6px;">Tools - Sino Gel Pens, </span><br style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 18px;" /><span style="font-family: "Cherry Cream Soda"; font-size: 13.6px;">Embellishments - Glamour Dust, </span></span></p><p>Thank you for looking, I will be back middle of the month with more creations for you.</p><p>Happy crafting</p><p>Tracy x</p>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-7867763988018151792022-04-25T07:00:00.015+01:002022-04-25T07:00:00.200+01:00Country Reflections (By Tracy Thompson)<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-TvUq8FF5v_zJx531NlVG2Fdan_dFNS6P_-uv858wY_SIm1qDoX9dTzFIO-x9ALyIrn-v1oNA8Yq1auZbG19rGRRicGlCG_N49XsdcAfLhCUMyUNNztDlmLdyNesEvX4QnZd24szhE36-lky6d_eEppd1pcf4EX8gtQptE7T3jBW06UjXyvEs3RpD4w/s1699/thumbnail%20(19).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="956" data-original-width="1699" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-TvUq8FF5v_zJx531NlVG2Fdan_dFNS6P_-uv858wY_SIm1qDoX9dTzFIO-x9ALyIrn-v1oNA8Yq1auZbG19rGRRicGlCG_N49XsdcAfLhCUMyUNNztDlmLdyNesEvX4QnZd24szhE36-lky6d_eEppd1pcf4EX8gtQptE7T3jBW06UjXyvEs3RpD4w/w640-h360/thumbnail%20(19).jpg" width="640" /></a></p><p></p><br /> Hello again, I'm here with the last of my samples for March's shows, above is my Rainbow creation, I love doing this. So I started with a strip of card and taking ink pads (I used VersafineClair) in six colours I stamped the long image <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/country-reflections-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html">Country Reflections</a>, then embossed with embossing powder which gave the ink a richer colour,, I stamped a sentiment from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/birthday-words-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Birthday words</a> underneath. I matted and Layered onto some black card which makes the colours pop.<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj7k5bn3r0NDT4SYtceazsgxIIZ_JKYT4mT3HuVamDwdKangdnQ1dBcpp_Z5G6LP3t9TMvhkNKOb9xgtRUzw-foGpEscEjzyiTVMA9paH9Zj4aQaJCBAazy8eC1g8-h0jH2nJ-4D5RyweyQXER--3dNUMDhB2w1Uoz8HK4j3XttBWSY1R2zf-FxrwdIQ/s1404/thumbnail%20(12).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1404" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhj7k5bn3r0NDT4SYtceazsgxIIZ_JKYT4mT3HuVamDwdKangdnQ1dBcpp_Z5G6LP3t9TMvhkNKOb9xgtRUzw-foGpEscEjzyiTVMA9paH9Zj4aQaJCBAazy8eC1g8-h0jH2nJ-4D5RyweyQXER--3dNUMDhB2w1Uoz8HK4j3XttBWSY1R2zf-FxrwdIQ/w492-h640/thumbnail%20(12).jpg" width="492" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I love making Notelet sets, because you get to showcase multiple stamps on one project, so I used the sets<a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/country-reflections-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html"> Country Reflections</a> and <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/country-reflections-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Country Reflections Elements</a>. So for my first I wanted to show <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-phenomenal-butterfly-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">The Phenomenal Butterfly Elements</a> stamps, so I kept this one simple by using a small stamping block, adding ink then spraying with some water, then press down onto the card. I did this in three different colours, then stamped an element over the top in black. I added a sentiment that suited the Butterflies and Dragonfly from the set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/birthday-words-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Birthday words</a>. Matted and Layered in a matching colour. I said it was simple!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw0L_mTb8Rgbav2QSKUjSrY_gkjL28b7Ob3RXP2KAcblB9ak3pBPu1nCP78Wz5CHb1hL10VuyHpeHOocYEUo-P6Viu50erjiOdgKgMgKkFfIzTuzyHC2PcMUeEQj9iagZib5s5B8aF9TqXEpnTraVX-Iokz5XvjnbVSp7ocUPqpMlvFJaOfi6rQjwSWA/s1080/thumbnail%20(17).jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="770" data-original-width="1080" height="456" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgw0L_mTb8Rgbav2QSKUjSrY_gkjL28b7Ob3RXP2KAcblB9ak3pBPu1nCP78Wz5CHb1hL10VuyHpeHOocYEUo-P6Viu50erjiOdgKgMgKkFfIzTuzyHC2PcMUeEQj9iagZib5s5B8aF9TqXEpnTraVX-Iokz5XvjnbVSp7ocUPqpMlvFJaOfi6rQjwSWA/w640-h456/thumbnail%20(17).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">For my next creation I thought what would show off these fabulous trees from <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/out-of-the-trees-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html">Out Of The Trees </a>stamp, and yes of course a reflection, I love doing reflections. So I started by creating the background putting in a little sunset/sunrise colour and just building up all the colours to get the right back drop. You just do half the card as below for the other half you need to go a bit lighter for the water effect. To do my reflections I use a Gel Plate, so stamp the main image first then stamp onto the gel plate and then place below the main image as a reflection. Then adding some detail by grounding the stamp and just layer it up on a co-ordinating colour card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: x-small;"><b style="text-align: left;"><span>Recipe:-</span></b><span style="text-align: left;"></span><br style="text-align: left;" /><span style="text-align: left;">Stamps - Chocolate Baroque's - </span> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/out-of-the-trees-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html">Out Of The Trees</a> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-phenomenal-butterfly-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">The Phenomenal Butterfly Elements</a> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/birthday-words-unmounted-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Birthday words</a><br style="text-align: left;" /><span style="text-align: left;">Colouring Medium - Distress Oxides, distress inks, Versafine Clair, </span><span style="text-align: left;"></span><br style="text-align: left;" /><span style="text-align: left;">Tools - Gel Plate, stamping block,</span></span><span style="font-size: 13.6px; text-align: left;"> </span><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Thank you for looking and see you near the end of the month with a couple more creations.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Happy crafting</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">Tracy x</div>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-19945913883937652922022-04-05T15:40:00.002+01:002022-04-05T15:42:12.273+01:00Phenomenal Butterflies<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHYjt_gI_l8F_PKu-93te7YTY8X1DZ6mRLXhA6oJBSAvZg8W-BQpEQUqfKH9Hf8pWoWHzog9oNjJe7iDCnc9LND67eccnxMOR-UTBrkaIidm0ozMUuwNEAQECd-JSLGTP0TGbatJQ6duLfGvAGtWJM3KSsb79BeBqSPh4A5kkjzWfN2QcJ2cPHjICKVg/s1080/thumbnail%20(15).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="810" data-original-width="1080" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhHYjt_gI_l8F_PKu-93te7YTY8X1DZ6mRLXhA6oJBSAvZg8W-BQpEQUqfKH9Hf8pWoWHzog9oNjJe7iDCnc9LND67eccnxMOR-UTBrkaIidm0ozMUuwNEAQECd-JSLGTP0TGbatJQ6duLfGvAGtWJM3KSsb79BeBqSPh4A5kkjzWfN2QcJ2cPHjICKVg/w640-h480/thumbnail%20(15).jpg" width="640" /></a></p><p></p><br />Today I would like to share with you a couple of creations that were made <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque </a>for March's shows on Create & Craft. The first one above is using the fabulous stamp <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-phenominal-butterfly-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html">The Phenomenal Butterfly</a>, which is a very large long stamp and beautiful to work with. I started by creating a background with Distress oxides and layering on to my base card. I then cut three squares and stamped a different part of the stamp on each square. I then stamped the butterflies and dragonflies again, cut them out coloured them in the same colour inks as the background and covered them in clear embossing powder for a glossy finish. I placed them over the original image on the squares, I stamped a sentiment from the set called <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/search.html">Birthday Words</a> on a strip of card and added to my card.<p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVJK5sFDAgH8D3f1bZO0F-N1AGhdhsjZDjb5Hr_ZK6lVb-Ugqa7DPkYYqSR4iEg3-DHi4A5YfVRqg1iGHWCNSY99eGzZVGpsLNTbcGTKq3KNq6dtJrQ9TghgeYeNgVBpDjZvqB-378G-SbVUWcnA4JGwkk5rQqT_OFeh2spSE7ASUs9LiEE3wWoGRLVQ/s1080/thumbnail%20(18).jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1061" data-original-width="1080" height="628" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVJK5sFDAgH8D3f1bZO0F-N1AGhdhsjZDjb5Hr_ZK6lVb-Ugqa7DPkYYqSR4iEg3-DHi4A5YfVRqg1iGHWCNSY99eGzZVGpsLNTbcGTKq3KNq6dtJrQ9TghgeYeNgVBpDjZvqB-378G-SbVUWcnA4JGwkk5rQqT_OFeh2spSE7ASUs9LiEE3wWoGRLVQ/w640-h628/thumbnail%20(18).jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>For my second creation I started by stamping the wall from the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/out-of-the-trees-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Out Of The Tees Elements</a>, I stamped another on some masking paper and covered the original, with the masking paper over the wall I stamped the train in place then stamped that onto masking paper too. Now that both my main elements were in place I started to create my scene. Using Distress oxides I created a hill, I then used the trees along the hill line, then behind the wall. for the foreground I stamped foliage from the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/walk-tall-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Walk tall </a>stamp set. I removed my masking paper and coloured my main elements.</p><p>I will look forward to later in the month when I will share with you a couple more makes from these shows</p><p><b><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Recipe:-</span></b><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Stamps - <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque's</a> - </span><a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/the-phenominal-butterfly-slim-strip-rubber-stamp-set-a4-slim.html">The Phenomenal Butterfly</a>, <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/search.html">Birthday Words</a> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/out-of-the-trees-elements-unmounted-rubber-stamp-set-a6.html">Out Of The Tees Elements</a> <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/walk-tall-rubber-stamp-sheet-dl.html">Walk tall </a> <br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Colouring Medium - Distress Oxides, Versafine Clair, Distress Inks, </span><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Tools - Embossing Powder, </span><br /></p><p>Happy crafting</p><p>Tracy x</p>Tracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-44169073512400506262022-03-27T07:00:00.017+01:002022-03-27T07:00:00.210+01:00Butterflies And A bird Of Joy<p> <a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgqtcB10pjymfFGpuDu4zqp962O-oDS38-cGUvVIkLQUZ8g1FseBYQKEhtyXuVi1uE4dNAOViZY5FDW0WNdesjzEUlWq9EWFLSGPVW99TiY4DZtaNd8ZEyLN7qb5NL6UKmE0dR_HedDnXKH4xzZZwAGXjshVjbwmSnx7E7GQ1JHVYCh9u3-eyR0i2M2Vg=s1324" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: center;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1324" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgqtcB10pjymfFGpuDu4zqp962O-oDS38-cGUvVIkLQUZ8g1FseBYQKEhtyXuVi1uE4dNAOViZY5FDW0WNdesjzEUlWq9EWFLSGPVW99TiY4DZtaNd8ZEyLN7qb5NL6UKmE0dR_HedDnXKH4xzZZwAGXjshVjbwmSnx7E7GQ1JHVYCh9u3-eyR0i2M2Vg=w522-h640" width="522" /></a></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This is my final post for this month, sharing some of my makes for February's TV shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque.</a> The above creation is using the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/butterfly-mind-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Butterfly Mind's</a> set, so I started with the base card/background, I used stamps from the set and a Versafine Clair Morning Mist ink pad so it was subtle. I randomly stamped with a butterfly and the splodges. For the main image I stamped it then masked it, I used Brusho's to colour the background sprayed with water. For the Butterflies I stamped some separate and coloured and fussy cut them to decoupage onto the main image.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjLnJ7rf0Z3IaHKk4dmZDdyPCqaCn5PTHGzOOVMqGWAgxEhvO6aBcUZGhR2woOHsKLku8ZAdv3re_hr6ibb0MvMnoPTPQ18jXS2R22886xEmoo4sI3trM_nXlXY7nJ-C_rEe6403aDE0x8-4_BK_jbCJOF4E1rZAoKfnwYX5XW-V-JqCpXV154MaQ2RLg=s1496" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1496" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjLnJ7rf0Z3IaHKk4dmZDdyPCqaCn5PTHGzOOVMqGWAgxEhvO6aBcUZGhR2woOHsKLku8ZAdv3re_hr6ibb0MvMnoPTPQ18jXS2R22886xEmoo4sI3trM_nXlXY7nJ-C_rEe6403aDE0x8-4_BK_jbCJOF4E1rZAoKfnwYX5XW-V-JqCpXV154MaQ2RLg=w462-h640" width="462" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">My next creation is using the <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0553.html">Bird Of Joy </a>stamp, which I coloured with pencils, and inked around the edges. So let's start with the one above using the seed pod from the stamp set <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/glorious-rubber-stamp-sheet-a5.html">Glorious,</a> I love this card and loved the process too, my base layer is made using Distress Mica Sprays in three colours , wow does it shimmer. Then for my main layer I stamped the seed pod onto some <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/21652.html">Chocolate Baroque's super smooth stamping card</a>, then masked it. Using Distress Oxides I smooched a background in three colours. Removing the mask I coloured the image with pencils. I stamped one of the leaves from the set in second generation around the image randomly. I stamped out some words from the set, cut them out and inked the edges and adhered them to the card. I just love the mica base card and then the vintage colours, they suit the seed pod so well I think.<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhVpRuf7B6B4pxeioiZQzqgyPUul_N_cOvW5MmkWPDmJcVnUeU1mnBSI2I6V51lvlffeQSaSnQMgKTbwBpRCNrLLxpQHKvdDVmghQcPvFwQjg1DxQdkHvwlZ_TpvH3KG3RSLiYrtUg-t3gOT8pQAxUS0-GFM3aNq2ai70hkI1SUBMVl-A3Jj2yGJPLEvA=s1441" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1441" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhVpRuf7B6B4pxeioiZQzqgyPUul_N_cOvW5MmkWPDmJcVnUeU1mnBSI2I6V51lvlffeQSaSnQMgKTbwBpRCNrLLxpQHKvdDVmghQcPvFwQjg1DxQdkHvwlZ_TpvH3KG3RSLiYrtUg-t3gOT8pQAxUS0-GFM3aNq2ai70hkI1SUBMVl-A3Jj2yGJPLEvA=w480-h640" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">So for my Notelet set I used several of the background stamps. I started with a Lavinia Gel plate the Squarelee, I brayered and sponged some Colorbox inks onto it to create my background, and using a Lavinia moon mask I created a moon and then stamped some tiny stars. I stamped my Hares next, then built up my scene with foliage stamps. I could not give this to my mum without Fairies on as she loves them so on went some Fairy Foragers.</p><div><br />I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:<br />1. <a href="https://cupcakeinspirations.blogspot.com/">Cupcake Inspirations</a> - #539 - Pet</div><div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjL6RZA2mfK-iHaASSccN6XW2FryXQmtNIWMwWC2wWWSwbHKjlFshzIODJBbIObTeddOSiaWjCP3NKvxqfFpmfAgNx1wOf0V7ngo26Uxdo96gyFJ7l2tt76P0HeluIcF4fKlRN-n0v1_a-C1E26-Gk62p7577l3vpWG_S-lwPE7cbmZUvT3TA0u-5Do=s384" style="background-color: white; color: #fcb0c2; font-family: "Open Sans"; font-size: 13.2px; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="384" data-original-width="384" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEjL6RZA2mfK-iHaASSccN6XW2FryXQmtNIWMwWC2wWWSwbHKjlFshzIODJBbIObTeddOSiaWjCP3NKvxqfFpmfAgNx1wOf0V7ngo26Uxdo96gyFJ7l2tt76P0HeluIcF4fKlRN-n0v1_a-C1E26-Gk62p7577l3vpWG_S-lwPE7cbmZUvT3TA0u-5Do=w200-h200" style="background-attachment: initial; background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial; border: 1px solid rgb(255, 255, 255); box-shadow: none; padding: 5px; position: relative;" width="200" /></a></div>2. <a href="https://www.simonsaysstampblog.com/mondaychallenge/">Simon Says Stamp Monday</a> - Add some Green</div><div><br /></div><div>3. <a href="http://dragonflydreamschallenges.blogspot.com/">Dragonfly dreams </a>- March Challenge - Something To Make You Smile (Hares and Fairies always make me smile)</div><div><br /></div><div><br /><b><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Recipe:-</span></b><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Stamps - Lavinia - Fairy Foragers, Wild Hares set, Silhouette Foliage set, Meadow Grass, Silhouette grass, </span><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Colouring Medium - Colorbox ink, Distress Oxides, Versafine Clair, Posca pens, Charcoal pencil, Sakura gelly roll pen, Signo gel pen, </span><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;">Tools - Lavinia Squarelee gel plate, Hill masks, Moon masks, </span><br /><span style="font-size: 13.6px;"></span></div><br />Thanks for popping by.<br />Happy crafting<br />Tracy xTracyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09030607402238684488noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2046164269639059646.post-19032319089878883732022-03-05T07:00:00.019+00:002022-03-05T07:00:00.210+00:00Glorious Floral Delights<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg7iCYIpJCw2RUwbOd1Iup22Qe5rFS0jalbX1xVU2JrsGjgwJY6mDWLryNkY4RA_nWla_SnjkH4RyN7BZ9_G4tQWqdF1xKyiYnaGgsIfLC3P6KCybWwaNbEax0fgbl0HP_td4aigRR4LtxrF6K8btNNL0m8TyHpQKClOFjJQG8dVf3nwDtsraDbUhAp5Q" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="1588" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEg7iCYIpJCw2RUwbOd1Iup22Qe5rFS0jalbX1xVU2JrsGjgwJY6mDWLryNkY4RA_nWla_SnjkH4RyN7BZ9_G4tQWqdF1xKyiYnaGgsIfLC3P6KCybWwaNbEax0fgbl0HP_td4aigRR4LtxrF6K8btNNL0m8TyHpQKClOFjJQG8dVf3nwDtsraDbUhAp5Q=w435-h640" width="435" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">This is my first post for this month using the fantastic stamps that were shown on one of the February's shows for <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/">Chocolate Baroque</a>. So first I would like to show a book I created using the following stamps - <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0556.html">Mosaic Flower</a>, <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0553.html">Bird Of Joy</a>, <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0557.html">Floral Delight</a>, <a href="https://www.chocolatebaroque.com/UA6SP0554.html">Wish Flower</a> and <a href="http://Glorious.">Glorious.</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">So all my images were layered onto black card and added to the book, for the front cover I stamped the Mosaic Flower but upside down so it looked like the Chinese lantern plant, I stencilled in the background and coloured the image with pencils. I added the words and did some highlights with a white gel pen.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhE8CoMPrs6cRRf-Rmnb3scukLr8j0eKultUYZPOEDZRqutcaxJODo43kSxmu_-QPLuOoie1jNR-mHrW4qzFal81xbp35iogYl2BVbpKdl7S9cfCXmKoDimk4LpC2r7pgmhOcoX-1DNArN6m0dEPaH3U6wbjF26pXQm6od_p9g44TiCvCoSNguy7P-Ogw" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="796" data-original-width="1080" height="472" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhE8CoMPrs6cRRf-Rmnb3scukLr8j0eKultUYZPOEDZRqutcaxJODo43kSxmu_-QPLuOoie1jNR-mHrW4qzFal81xbp35iogYl2BVbpKdl7S9cfCXmKoDimk4LpC2r7pgmhOcoX-1DNArN6m0dEPaH3U6wbjF26pXQm6od_p9g44TiCvCoSNguy7P-Ogw=w640-h472" width="640" /></a></div><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">The above pages and the ones below were done very much the same as the cover, only when I did my stencilling I masked down each side and only stencilled in the centre. Each image was coloured with pencils in co=ordinating colours to the stencilling. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi-YGbLuoeuhUL8dnh9dYRIWM_2UlsGUOsN-36Bi1R1LwIN1xGr2GW40poqYQx2-kQIpe-737dznSY3UY-XuQfc79mHxeu2JgGChsDeLASQ_5SUa6GvAKpidoAhp6BLulrl-CfM-QvvtOiP1nM9tNoYwavNM2bTTDv0lV-TVncD7IEBfM1SrlgtuuOcxw" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="837" data-original-width="1080" height="496" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEi-YGbLuoeuhUL8dnh9dYRIWM_2UlsGUOsN-36Bi1R1LwIN1xGr2GW40poqYQx2-kQIpe-737dznSY3UY-XuQfc79mHxeu2JgGChsDeLASQ_5SUa6GvAKpidoAhp6BLulrl-CfM-QvvtOiP1nM9tNoYwavNM2bTTDv0lV-TVncD7IEBfM1SrlgtuuOcxw=w640-h496" width="640" /></a></div><br />For my next creation I made a large tag, using a die I cut the tag set which is a base, top layer and the eyelet covers. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;"><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgweeGRjbDFJdgKdTcZ1ofBg3k8dSSq8u-qXnfwsAHesg-cxJWjV4gOG4H5qdhOtE9HU4NXtol1ZIWb64mQCvlLuBZUAcmnAfRT_dzKSM61TxFK-xWHDMIkjMoTNTLj6ICi3Qe_uNuxktxPhYg_S2T96BhdT8IfBLQdXUFrmbF4sLLEqRVLg4kSVmpTZQ" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img alt="" data-original-height="2243" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEgweeGRjbDFJdgKdTcZ1ofBg3k8dSSq8u-qXnfwsAHesg-cxJWjV4gOG4H5qdhOtE9HU4NXtol1ZIWb64mQCvlLuBZUAcmnAfRT_dzKSM61TxFK-xWHDMIkjMoTNTLj6ICi3Qe_uNuxktxPhYg_S2T96BhdT8IfBLQdXUFrmbF4sLLEqRVLg4kSVmpTZQ=w309-h640" width="309" /></a></div><br /><br /></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">I coloured the base tag in Distress Oxide in a matching colour to the the colours in the top layer.
