She's so pretty!

This is for:-
1. Totally Papercrafts - challenge # 6 - Mother's day
2. Stamp Something - Something Girly
3. C.R.A.F.T. - challenge 40 - Mother's Day
4. Cupcake Crafts - challenge 82 - Flower Power
5. Sophisti-cats - challenge # 25 - Flourishes and Bling

This is another order, my friend Sarah saw the card I did last week with the lace, where I had sewn beads on, and wanted that to be on her card for her Mum. The sentiment is embossed with clear embossing powder, the hearts have been embossed with flourishes too. The papers are my favourites at the moment, they are Papermania's Rose garden. The image is Belle's 'N' Whistles - Belle with teddy, one of my favourites too.

Totally Papercrafts and C.R.A.F.T. want to see Mother's Day cards this week. And Stamp Something want to see something "Girly", which also falls in with Cupcake crafts challenge of "Flower Power". This week Sophist-cats would like to see "Flourishes and bling", there is flourishes stamped onto the two hearts and my bling is the beads and glitter i have used.

I also got this award from the lovely Fiona at Lil Daffodil , and Sarah over at Crafty By Nature , Thank you so much ladies for thinking of me. And doesn't seem to have any rules attached with it, so rather than try to name some of you lovely ladies out there, as you can see it's a sunshine award and blogging has brought so much sunshine into my life. All I will say is if you've visited my blog and enjoyed it please take this award as a thank you.

Happy crafting

Daisy, Daisy!

This card is for:-
Roses On Paper/Belles 'N' Whistles - challenge # 22 - Orange, Brown and Green + Sketch
Belles 'N' Whistles - sketch
C.R.A.F.T. - challenge # 20 - Autumn colours from inspiration pic

Roses On Paper gave great colours of Orange, Brown and Green and to use a sketch from another challenge. They are having a Belles 'N' Whistles guest Design Team Call too.
Belles 'N' Whistles are having a sketch and they will spotlight the chosen cards.
C.R.A.F.T. wanted to see Autumn colours, which fits perfectly with the chosen colours on Roses On Paper.

On the sketch there were flowers going down the side but I rotated the sketch and punched little daisies and added a gem in the centre of each. The papers are all In My Minds Eye -Bloom and Grow. The dark card looks black on the photo but it is dark brown.

My three year old decided he was helping Mummy today after dinner to make a card. He saw me making the daisies for this card and said he'd make me some more to use. He was as quiet as a mouse with a flower punch some scraps of paper and a pair of rounded tweezers.

Quietly concentrating on punching flowers.

" look what I've made you Mummy". Oh how sweet is he!

Sisters

This card is for:-

1. Roses On Paper/Belles 'n'Whistles - challenge # 21 - Stitches

2. Cupcake Craft Challenge - challenge # 59 - Cute as a bug

3. Creative Inspirations - challenge # 17 - sketch

4. Incy Wincy Designs - challenge # 11 - Autumn Colours

For the Roses On Papaer/B 'n'W challenge I used this lovely Sisters stamp from Belles 'N' Whistles and they asked for stitching, I did some faux stitching. This stamp reminds me of me and my sister who is nine years younger than me.

Cupcake Crafts wanted bugs included on your project, I've got some butterflies and dragonflies on this card. My dragonflies are just covered in glamour dust and sparkle to match the sparkle on the flowers, the big sisters belt and her hat. And the little sisters ribbons.

What a great sketch from Creative Inspirations it worked perfectly with these delicious papers.

Incy Wincy Designs are asking for Autumn colours, this is my first time doing this challenge blog.

Recipe:-

Stamps - Belles 'n' Whistles Sisters, Sentiment done on computer, flower stamp,

Papers - In My Minds Eye Bloom and Grow,

Colouring Mediums - Distress inks, H20's,

Tools - dragonfly punch,

Embellishments - ribbon, butterflies, glamour dust,

He's named her Annie!

This card is for :-
1. Roses On Paper - challenge # 20 - Lavender, soft blue and cream
2. Stamp Something - Something with your favourite stamp and using diecutting or punching tools
3. Simon Says Stamp - sketch

There was an odd moment today while I was making this card, my son was watching and touching as usual when out of the blue while I was painting the image he said "I like her". "Do you love, why?" I said. To which he replied "She's called Annie and she's in my class at nursery". Now my son dosen't start Nursery till next Tuesday, and as far as I know there is no Annie starting his Nursery, he has been once to look round but didn't meet any other children while we were there. As the image is actually a Belles 'N' Whistles stamp and she's called Belle, just between me and my son, I am now renaming my stamp Annie.
I tried something a bit different today with my flowers, instead of using patterned paper, I used plain card and stamped flourishes on in a contrasting coloured ink.
Roses On Paper gave us a beautiful colour combo which was Lavender, Soft Blue and Cream The colours look so pretty together I really enjoyed using them.
Stamp Something want to know what your favourite stamp is by using it on this challenge. Belle and Teddy is my favourite even though it is new, I've just really taken to it. They also asked us to include the use of die cutting tools or punches, I used both a cricut and punches.
Simon Says stamp offered us a brilliant sketch to use, only thing is I don't have a leaf punch or anything on my cricut to cut leaves so used extra little daises instead, just to fill out the corner a bit.
