Fairy Notebook

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Christmas Gifts'

My Christmas gift is a Notebook/Journal, this was the first outing for my Bind It All, I had to watch some Youtube videos to use it, but I got there with it.  It has been stuck in the box for well over a couple of years now.  I had to use my Lavinia and Inkylicious stamps, partnered up with Brushos and my Gel Plate.  The front cover is above and the inside cover is below, I did a pocket on the inside cover.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Focus On The Journey

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Transport', whether it be Boat, Train, Hot Air Balloon or a Bicycle, there's lots to choose from.

I made a card for my husband, I started by using some Distress Oxides and making a backing paper, then stamped all over with a HOTP map stamp.  The car and the sign post are also HOTP, I covered the car in glossy accents for a nice shine.  After stamping the signpost with Distress Ink Ground Espresso I dragged the colour with a paint brush to colour it, then stamped the words, then just to give it an extra shine I used clear embossing powder to cover it.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
