The Night Sky

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Ellie's turn to host and she would like to see 'Sun, Moon, Stars or Baby'

Sometime ago I bought a Sheena Douglass Mystery bag from Crafters Companion, in it was some sparkle pens and I had no idea what to do with them.  Anyway just by pure accident I was stuck on the sofa with a very swollen ankle at the weekend and put YouTube on, I very rarely watch it.  I searched for Sheena Douglass as I like her stuff, and low and behold there was a background tutorial using the sparkle pens.  So using that tutorial I made this background with 3 colours, water and salt, you can't see the sparkle on the photo but it's there.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Time For Tea

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Charms'

So I was looking through my charms for one to use for this challenge, I came across this cute cup and saucer and it brought this LOTV stamp to mind.  I love using this image and love colouring it even more.  I do usually colour this one with Spectrum Noirs but decided to do some water colouring instead.  I love the effect and just for a bit of added interest I used glossy accents on the tea service.

Bee-autiful things

Welcome to another new post, it's not always easy, and creating definitely is so hard sometimes when I'm on a downer, but I just keep trying, even if 3 out of 4 end up in the bin.
It's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations  this month the theme is 'Show Your True Colours' , so use your favourite colours and at the moment I am loving the colour combination of Distress Inks - Bundled Sage and Victorian Velvet and went vintage with this card.  All the stamps including the small ones used to make my backgrounds are from Crafty Individuals and are from sets from a magazine as a Freebie.

We have sponsorship this Month from
Visible Image  with a £25 voucher

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Blooms, Butterflies And Bugs' , I have all three on my card.  I love the layout I have done on this card and will definitely be using it again, it's just so pretty.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Swedish House Crafts and Stix2  Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your Penny Black stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

Gothic Letter Writing

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Susan's turn to host and she would like to see 'Halloween'

I used this image which my daughter loves, she was great to colour. I was going to go with red hair as my daughter has bright red hair, although a couple of weeks ago it was purple, (she changes the colour of her hair every other month lol) but the orange was more fitting for Halloween.  The web die I bought a while ago, my daughter Jodie talked me into it, said I really needed it and I can put it on her birthday cards.  Glad I bought it now as it finished this card perfectly.  The backing paper was orange so I used distress inks in black soot to tone it down, and then stamped bats all over it.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Here are the prizes on offer from our lovely sponsor Little Claire's:-
