In Bloom

So it's the first Saturday of March, and it's nice to see that some of my Daffodils and Crocus's have come up and look so pretty.   It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Brenda's turn to host and she would like to see 'Spring Inspiration', and there is a photo (see below) to follow and inspire.

I was trying to think of a stamp to represent spring, then I remembered these gardening Hanglar Stanglar stamps, which I haven't used for a long time.  For my colour combo I used all the colours in the inspiration photo, as for the design I started with the images then cut them out and went from there, never done a design like this before but i'm quite pleased with how it turned out.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

A Stitch Up

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Sarah's turn to host and she would like to see 'A Stitch Up', so use form of stitching whether it's faux or real, or even an image that has something to do with sewing, I chose to do faux stitching on mine.  My backing paper is a patchwork and some of the patchwork shapes have little reels of ribbon, and thread on, then the heart paper has crossed stitched hearts on.
I used a Hanglar Stanglar image, I have a couple of these but never seem to use them, and I hate to see things not getting used.  I finished off with lace, buttons and satin flowers.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
