Spring And Some News!

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning and I do hope this goes live because as it does I will be in hospital.  I went to see a Surgeon on Tuesday and he informed me he wanted me in hospital on Friday Morning for an operation.  I have a Cyst/Growth (there not sure what it is until it's sent to pathology) in my jaw. It has become so big and has eaten a lot of my bone away.  When they try to remove the cyst and several teeth there is a chance the jaw bone could break as it is so thin and weak, and I may have to have a bone graft done.  This only became a problem  recently (3/4 months ago)  and everything has moved very fast
The appointment was supposed to take up to 18 weeks originally from Tuesday not the 3 days it has done, But until they operate they will not know the extent of damage or how long I will need to stay in hospital  so therefore I haven't been able to get organised and maybe missing for a while, hopefully though while I'm layed up I will be able to do some blogging, but obviously not making cards.

So back to today's challenge at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Brenda's turn to host and she would like to see 'Spring Is In The Air', I haven't used a Popcorn Bear for quite a while so thought I would colour up this one.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge and to find out what prizes are on offer, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Recipe:-
Stamps - Popcorn Bear Bunches Of Love, Dovecraft Alphabet stamps,

Colouring Mediums - Spectrum Noirs,
Tools - Nesties, Sizzix flower dies, Grand Calibur,

Retirement Relaxation

Hello everyone, happy Bank holiday weekend to you all.
This is a rare post for me as I found a little extra time to have a play this week with some images that I've wanted to use for ages, that's right this is just for fun!
I love Popcorn bear and Souffle, and my Mam needed a retirement card and I thought this image fits the bill. I had this fabulous paper from Forever friends, every sheet is gorgeous and I just wanted to use it, and I thought this image was perfect for them. I've pleated my ribbon in three places to make it a bit different as it's a mans card, so it's instead of a bow. I hope you all have a nice relaxing weekend and bank holiday.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
1. Crafters Companion - challenge 24 - Here Comes Summer
2. Creative Inspirations Wednesday - challenge 161 - Animal Antics
3. MAWTT - Summer Sunshine
4. Mishelflo's - challenge 1 - Celebration

Recipe:-
Stamps - Popcorn bear,
Papers - Forever Friens The Good Life,
Colouring Medium - Distress Inks,
Embellishments - button, ribbon, flower pot,

It's time for another challenge at Oldie But A Goodie, this week it's our lovely Debs turn to host, Her theme this week is "One For The Boys". So get your male stamps out. Head over to the main challenge blog to check all the details of the new challenge and to see what our lovely girls have created for your inspiration. We are sponsored this week by Stampelkallan. Remember to be in with a chance of winning You must use a rubber stamp (not a digi) and it must be at least 6 months old.

My winner for the blog hop last challenge is Lynne In NI, congratulations, please e-mail me and I'll send you your prize.

I have made this card for my eldest Son's Birthday in October, he doesn't play golf, the image is for a joke between me and him. We can't always do much in the way of embellishments for male cards, usually it's buttons, stars that kind of thing. So I made a golf ball and added the little stamp you get with this golfing Popcorn Bear stamp, Souffle sat on a Golf Tee.
