Here is what I did, I used one of the sponsors images from Nicecrane, you can find it here

Now as I couldn't use design papers I decided to emboss my backgrounds, with the swiss dots and snowflakes.  the image had a treatment of Glamour dust for that snowy and frosty effect.  And I know it's not traditional colour card but I matched to the image this time and used this orange/tan colour.

Greyfriars Bobby

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Based On A Film Title'

A bit of a sad film I chose I know, but it sticks in my mind, I saw it growing up and I remember crying at it.  But when it upsets your children it sticks in your mind more for that.  Bobby hasn't actually seen it and I wouldn't let him see it either.  You see he got it as a reading book at school, and I thought he might be OK as it wasn't the dog that died, nope Bobby cried nearly all way through, then he asked "why would somebody be so mean and write such a sad book for me to read",  aww bless him.

Kept my card masculine, just automatically started making it for a male, think it's because the film is based on a man and his dog, so a simple look for this one, I know not my usual style, not much in the way of embellies too.

This week is our lovely Susan's turn to host and she would like to see 'Fairies'
Here is what I did, I used one of our sponsors images, It's Adorable Fairies from Nicecrane designs, which you can find here
Adorable Fairies

I framed my image using a spellbinders die, but it was too big so I cut a section out from the middle and pieced it back together.  I love these papers, of course they are LOTV, it's all I seem to use now is LOTV papers, I have most of their pads, I just really love the vintage look of them.  I have glittered the fairy wings, but as you know I'm rubbish at taking the photo's, so you probably won't be able to see.

Today's News:-
As promised to some of you, here are some photo's of my daughter on her prom night.  She is not your normal spray tan and pretty dress kind of girl, but she was true to herself and wore what she liked.  She looked gorgeous and so grown up and it was lovely to see her out of black jeans, as that is all she wears LOL!  The close up is so beautiful I have been for a frame for it, I am taking all the professional photo's down and I've decided I much prefer the more natural photo's we take ourselves, in natural settings.

These photo's seem a bit dark and you can't see her shoes properly!

Recipe:-
Stamps - Nicecrane Nursery Lamp 4, sentiment crafters companion Beatrix Potter,
Papers - LOTV pressed in time,
Tools - Spellbinder dies, grand calibur, CC Designs dies, border punch, signature dies,
