Joanna Sheen DT Call

This is a close up of the decoupage layers

Good morning everyone, this is a special post regarding the Joanna Sheen DT Call. I applied for the DT Call and I have been shortlisted to the final 12, all 12 finalists have been given a decoupage and some papers to use to make a card, everyone has the same.
I used die cuts in addition to the given paper and decoupage, I printed Joanna Sheen's decoupage and papers on pearlised paper which has given it a lovely soft look.

The finalists will be whittled down to a final 3, so if you find my work inspiring and would like to see more of it as part of the DT, then the Joanna Sheen Challenge Blog are asking for feedback on the applicants.

Please do pop by and if you like what you see please leave feedback in the comments.

Thank you so much

So this is what happened this weekend for me, my youngest son Bobby had his very first football match yesterday, this is him wearing his kit, but he will insist on wearing his shin pads on the outside of his socks, as he says they rub. So we're off this week to try and get some he will feel comfortable with.

The score ended up as 3-1 to Bobby's team, and Yipee Bobby scored one of the three goals. We are so proud and his little face just lit up when he scored. The team did so well. Here's a photo I managed to take when he was standing still. Bobby is in the middle in an orange bib.

At Sir Stampalot this month the theme is "Take Flight", So get out your stamps with wings on, and lets see some flying. I decided to use a House Mouse stamp, and it was the first inking of it too, I really enjoyed colouring it with my Distress Inks. Olympic Mice

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend. Are you enjoying the Olympics?
It is time for another theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Heather's turn to choose the theme and she chose, can you guess.................... "Olympics" - Use something on your creation that ties in with the theme, plenty of ideas on the challenge blog.
I found this challenge a bit out of my comfort zone as I don't like sport and I don't watch the Olympics, I didn't really have an appropriate stamp so I had to transform one to suit, see my recipe at the bottom to see what i used. I cut my Olympic rings with my nestie circles and then used the same colour glitter all over the rings to make them sparkle. If you look at the stamp I used they normally have hearts in their hands, I cut the hearts away and replaced with some Union jacks.
Of course you must use a House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.

We are sponsored by Pink Gem Designs who will be giving one lucky winner a "Best Of The British Digi Kit"

AND

House Mouse designs will be giving a $25 gift certificate.

Thanks for looking, the DT have all made gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the HM&F Monday Challenge to see them.
