Sparkly Snowflakes

Hello blogging friends, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week our lovely Brenda is hosting and she would like to see 'No Design Papers'.............SCREAM ....No Design Papers............ I can't use my beloved papers.............
Anyway here is what I did, I used various snowflake stamps, and decided to use different coloured inks to stamp my background.  Used this really cute LOTV stamp which has lots of sparkly glamour dust on the igloo that isn't showing too well.  And instead of a bow I added a ribbon slider, I don't know what made me keep this card quite simple, and i'm not sure about it, but hey ho it's done now.

Autumn Colours

Welcome to my blog today, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.

Little Birdie

Welcome to my blog this morning, it's Saturday so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Tracy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Nature'
Here is what I did, I used a Tina Wenke stamp with this lovely Birdie on a Dogwood branch.  I coloured it with Spectrum Noir and added some stickles.  I made some flowers adding pearls to the centre, there's some broderie Anglais and ribbon but you can't see much of it.

Superhero's

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Numbers'
For my challenge piece I am using this commission I have made this week, It's a set I was asked to make for a 21st Birthday, They picked the colours for the Superhero's clothes, but I don't think they are based on any particular Superhero's.
The set consists of a greeting card:-

I coloured the images with Spectrum Noirs, I was dreading doing them but they weren't that bad to do actually.  All the papers were printed from a CD-Rom by Polkadoodles called 'Not For Girls'

Christmas Tree Gift Bag

Here is my midway creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Anything Goes' how easy is this challenge.
For my creation I used this fab Penny Black stamp, Transparent Wonder collection, it's a freebie from a magazine.  My papers are also freebies too. I know I'll be needing gift bags so thought I'd get started with this one.  To do the tree I stamped in black, then using two different colours of Spectrum Noirs in greens I coloured using dots of green.  Then dotted gold stickles over the top.

Hello everyone and welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Sew Special' so anything to do with sewing, even some faux stitching on your creation.
For my creation I used a Beatrix Potter stamp called Tailor Of Gloucester, the papers are Sew Pretty from Aspire crafts.  I added buttons, lace and ribbon for my embellishments.

Hello my friends, well the school holiday is almost over for my youngest, he returns to school on Wednesday, my daughter has already gone back, so looking forward to getting back to a routine.

Vampire Witchy Gift bag

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

Here is what I did, I used one of the sponsors images Vampire Witch, and decided to do a Gift Bag and as my daughter and some of her friends are Gothic, figured this will get used pretty quickly.  I coloured it with Spectrum Noirs, I had to get a new printer last week and the ink seems to be smudging a lot more than usual, so it was hard colouring it. My Recycled item is the ribbon and bow which is from a new pair of Pyjamas I got, I thought it was way too big for a card but is perfect for the gift bag.

Burgundy Vintage

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

Wedding Set

Welcome to my blog this morning, the kids are off school and I don't know where my days are going. So It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.  This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Pearls &/or Gems'
I needed to do a commission, the requirement was a Wedding Set, and what a perfect creation to use pearls on.  I bought a new wedding stamp for this as I really liked the elegance of it, and decided not to use backing papers.  The wedding colour theme is black, gold and white, and I loved using that combo.

Here is the card, the white background card is embossed with elegant swirl embossing folder.

The candle has the happy couple's names and wedding date on the back.

Satin flowers adorn the lid and some pretty cotton lace around the bottom of the box.

And a gift bag to put it all in.
