Olympic Mice


Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend. Are you enjoying the Olympics?
It is time for another theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Heather's turn to choose the theme and she chose, can you guess.................... "Olympics" - Use something on your creation that ties in with the theme, plenty of ideas on the challenge blog.
I found this challenge a bit out of my comfort zone as I don't like sport and I don't watch the Olympics, I didn't really have an appropriate stamp so I had to transform one to suit, see my recipe at the bottom to see what i used. I cut my Olympic rings with my nestie circles and then used the same colour glitter all over the rings to make them sparkle. If you look at the stamp I used they normally have hearts in their hands, I cut the hearts away and replaced with some Union jacks.
Of course you must use a House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.

Fun In The Sun


Good Morning bloggers, Last week was so hectic, there were loads happening at my youngest son's school, and as I help out, I had a Teddy bears picnic, meet and greet the new teachers, a gala day, OMG I could keep going. But now it's the school holidays I can take it a bit easier, although I have already been playing referee between my two eldest children. Now I hope to catch up on whats happening out there in blogland.

Now It's time for a new challenge today at Oldie But A Goodie This week is our lovely Lisa Jane's turn to host and she would like to see you take inspiration from the picture provided.

It had to use this Gruufie image, these Gruffies love the summer and look like they're having so much fun. This was coloured with Promarkers, using some new colours I have just got. Think I needed to go darker with the sand.

Summertime Fun Reminder


Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend. I thought I would give you a reminder for our challenge over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Christine's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Summer holidays" - Use something on your creation that's anything to do with summertime fun. I love this stamp HMLR1044 Buzzy freiends, it's such fun to colour too.

I coloured using Promarkers. Popped some black lace on and a gold and black button to finish off the bow. Some gems and job done.
Do you know I could sit all day just colouring House Mouse images, apart from being so adorable, I love how they come to life before your very eyes.

Summertime fun



Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.
It is time for another theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Christine's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Summer holidays" - Use something on your creation that's anything to do with summertime fun. As soon as I saw the theme I knew which stamp I had to use. I love this stamp HMTR1057 Spa Day, such fun to colour too, this was coloured using Promarkers. But it's such a big image that I thought embellishments may be too much for the card on a whole.
Of course you must use a House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.

Crafty Passion Reminder


Hi all, and welcome, this a reminder for Sir Stampalot's July challenge, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.

Let's get fruity




Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend. I'm going to my cousins cremation today, I mentioned him earlier this month, he died of a Brain Aneurism at the age of 38, it is also my Mum's birthday today too, so she's saying goodbye to her nephew on her birthday. My youngest son has fractured his hand and it's driving him mad and he's driving me mad, as there is no Football practice or Rugby, he's so fed up. As I see it things can only get better. Let's move on to today's challenge card.

It is time for another theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was Paula's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Let's Get fruity" - Use something on your creation that has fruit on it.
