Dragons Taking Flight

Hello lovely bloggers, It's time for a new challenge today at AllsortsThis week is my turn to host and I would like to see the theme 'Take Flight', so that could be Birds, Helicopters, Dragons or even Butterflies, just anything that can fly.

I started with a round Gel Plate, I found it a lot easier to get the effect I wanted than with the bigger 5x7, I'm still needing practice with that one.  I brayered the plate with Colorbox ink, then sprinkled it with some Brusho's.  Then stamped Dragons and tree's all from Lavinia.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Fairies, Fairies Everywhere!

Hello, thank you for stopping by this Saturday morning, It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Mervi's turn to host and she would like to see 'More Than A Single Word Sentiment'

I started by making a background with some Brusho's, I have to say I'm pretty new to using them but I do love the effect you can get.  I chose my sentiment then built around it with foliage stamps and mushrooms.  Adding some Lavinia Moon Dust to give sparkle on some of the foliage.

And now mid months for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Favourite Stamp', well at the moment frankly any Lavinia stamp is my favourite.  Using a Gel Plate I made this background, still practising with it, it took three attempts to get this one decent one.  Grounded my Hare - Pipin with versafine Clair inks and stamped the rest of the scene in the same inks too.

We have sponsorship this Month from

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Make It Feminine',  so it's quite an easy one.  I used the Baby Fairies from Penny Black, they are so cute, lots of sparkle and pretty paper was all that was really needed to create this.

Dandelions

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Helene's turn to host and she would like to see 'Soft Pastels'

I made this for my Uncle, my Auntie died and her funeral was on the 23rd December.  Like with all Sympathy cards I like to make them simple and elegant, I thought this Lavinia Dandelion stamp was suitable and I made a background with Oxides, just masking of the sides and matting and layering on matching card.  Added a bit of Glamour dust to the dandelions and that was it.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
