Like Gnome Other

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

This week is our lovely Lolo's turn to host and she would like to see 'Masculine'

So this card was for my Dad who celebrated his 70th birthday on the 7th July, it was made as a bit of a joke as my sister bought him a gnome for the garden, then she kept buying him in different poses etc, then my daughter bought him one with a wheelbarrow with a plant in. Now everyone buys him them.  I asked if he liked collecting them as they are all over his garden now, he said I don't collect them, I don't know why everyone keeps buying them, but now that is mine and my dads secret that we have a chuckle at.  So when he saw my card he laughed and we just looked at each other with grins on our faces.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Tea At Three

Welcome to my blog, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'For A Lady'  So to create this card I did a background with Distress Inks then over stamped in Tea Dye the Venetian Crackle.  I stamped the image twice, coloured the first one with Distress inks, added glamour dust around the clock face, then on the second image I only coloured the bird and the teacups, I then fussy cut them and added glossy accents.  I decoupaged the second image onto the first.

We have a fabulous £25 store voucher for this month lucky winner from one of our lovely regular sponsors..........

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Beautiful Blooms'  I started this using a stencil brush and gentle added colour using Distress Oxides to the base.  I stamped the foxgloves four times at different levels and coloured with Faber-Castell pencils, highlighting with a gel pen.  I stamped some bees and coloured them, added a sentiment and glitter and that was it finished

Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.
