Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

With These Wings

It's mid way time for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Colour My World' so we would like to see lots of colour, which hopefully I captured in my piece.  As it was my sister's birthday yesterday I can show this book mark, which I made to put in her rather large Birthday card.   I started my background using Distress Oxides.  I created a moon and placed my Hare and fairy.  Then I made up the rest of my scene with Lavinia foliage stamps.

We have sponsorship this Month from:-
And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Flowers, Birds and Butterflies'  For this creation I used the stamp sets Thistle butterfly and Butterfly Mind I received an early birthday gift from my very good friend of new Distress Oxide colours, I think she is feeding my ink habit.   So it was rude not to use them, I used Kitsch Flamingo, Rustic Wilderness and Speckled Egg with stencil brushes to create this lovely soft background.  Now Speckled egg had become my all time favourite but I think Kitsch Flamingo has just took it's place.  Using the two stamp sets I mixed and match using butterflies and foliage to create this scene.  There is some soft purple glitter too but as usual you can't see it.

Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.

On The Road

.

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Masculine'

For this card I started with the map stamp, it's a slim small one but matches up pretty well to make the backing paper. I then applied Distress Inks to give it some colour.  I stamped the main image, coloured it with inks again then cut with a circle die..  The border strip was cut and I stamped tyre tracks on to it with a sentiment.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Here is the prize on offer:- the stamp set is this brand and a nautical one, but slightly different to the photo.

Castles, Dragons then a Butterfly!

Good Morning and welcome, Since the last time I posted we have had heavy snow which caused my Husband and Daughter to have to leave work early as the roads had become undrivable.  A power cut that lasted half the day, even the supermarket had to close.  Still doing Home Schooling although Bobby is proving very difficult to keep focused.  So I find myself with no laptop from 8.30 - 2.30 while Bobby does his school work and can't do much anyway as he needs supervision or else he doesn't get any work done.

So on to reason for why I am here, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

Love Is ...........

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.

This week is my turn  turn to host and I would like to see 'Love Is.......... 💓'  So for this theme you can go for Valentines, Anniversaries or just a card for someone you love, it would be nice if you could use the word Love or a heart on your work.

I started with cutting a heart shaped aperture, then stamping around the edge with leaves and flowers.  For my scene I used Oxides to create the colour and then sprayed a stencil with water and laid it over the top to give me the pattern.  I stamped my mushrooms and Hares, grounded them with ink and scrap paper as a template. Using a moon mask I added a moon.  To finish added I some moondust to the flowers around the frame.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
