Magical Worlds

Good morning Bloggers, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well.  Our challenge  here at Allsorts could help you if your in isolation to pass time and help take your mind off it all for a little while. 
This week is my turn to host  and I would like to see 'Magical Worlds'  So this could be anything that is magical, it can be Unicorns, Dragons, Fairies, Witches or even Wizards.  As long as it's from a magical world you can use it

To make my card I made a background using a gel plate and brushos, then created a scene to house my fairy couple using Lavinia stamps.  This was the Annivesary card I made for my Hubby.

Three Little Piggies

Good morning Bloggers, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this awful time, 
Our challenge  here at Allsorts could help you if your in isolation to pass time and help take your mind off it all for a little while. 
This week is our lovely Mervi's turn to host and she would like to see 'Dots, Stripes or Gingham'

To make the background I used Distress Oxides , then over stamped dots using a Lavinia mini stamp.  My main image I coloured with the same colours in Distress Inks. and the sentiment came with the main image.

Because of the current situation we really feel that isn't practical  to be posting prizes . We hope you understand.

Flowers And Masculine

Good morning, I hope you are all staying well and safe.   If you feel some crafting will help at the moment then hopefully these challenges can take your mind of things for a bit.
These are Mid Way challenges for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you haven't joined in yet these challenges could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Say It With Flowers'. To create this I chose this beautiful Inkylicious Poppy stamp, which I stamped onto this background I created using Distress oxides.  I coloured the poppies with Spectrum Noir markers, and a white gel pen, I added some words, all to do with nature to work with the Poppies.  There is a bit of sparkle done with glitter among the words and around the flower heads, but as usual isn't showing up on the picture.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Boys & Men'.  For my creation I used this Penny Black Union Jack Mini, coloured with Watercoloured pencils.  Using a stencil I created a background in monochrome colours and then added a sentiment.

The Flutter Of Magic

Good morning Bloggers, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this awful time, 
Our challenge  here at Allsorts could help you if your in isolation to pass time and help take your mind off it all for a little while. 
This week we had been planning a special fortnight with lots of prizes to celebrate our 11th Birthday. However, given the current Global situation we really feel that isn't appropriate plus posting prizes off at the moment is not practically possible. So we are saving the prizes for now and hope to do something special later in the year when the World situation improves.

In the meantime we hope you will join in with Brenda's simple theme of..........

As a two week challenge was already in our schedule we are sticking with that and the challenge will run until Friday 22nd May. And instead of a Top 5, it will be a Top 10 and there may even be some 'special mentions' of any entries that really pop out at us.

To make my card I went all out with my Lavinia stamps, I just sat and played, I had all sorts out on my desk, really not like me, I'm the kind of person that tidies as I go.  I just lost myself making this.  The background is done with Distress Oxides and a full list of what I used is in the recipe below.

Where Flowers Bloom So Does Hope!

Good morning friends, I hope you are all staying well and safe in these unpredictable times, we all need some kind of release whether it's crafting, cooking or catching up with box sets.  If it's some crafting you want then hopefully these can take your mind of things for a bit.
Here's our new challenges for for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Say It With Flowers'.  Dora our Teamie at Stamping Sensations draws and creates her own Digi images, this image is one of hers and was a joy to colour, using Spectrum Noirs.  I added a sentiment from Apple Blossom.  The background I created using Distress oxides then stamped an Apple Blossom butterfly over the background.

Butterfly Perfumery

Good morning Bloggers, I hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this awful time, 
Our challenge  here at Allsorts could help you if your in isolation to pass time and help take your mind off it all for a little while. 
This week is our lovely Helene's turn to host and she would like to see 'Butterflies'

To make my card I used Distress Oxides and created a background, then over stamped with a flourish stamp from Butterfly Perfumery stamp set, and then using splots from Butterfly Mind I added some more interest to the background and embossed them in gold.  For my main image I stamped the perfume bottle and decoupaged the butterfly.  I then stamped and added another butterfly to the image.
