Sugar & Spice

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is my turn to host and I would like to see 'Sugar & Spice' My theme is from the rhyme 'Sugar and spice and all things nice, that's what little girls are made of', so you can choose sweet treats, girly creations or anything that you thinks reflects this rhyme.

Here is what I did, I used a Sugar Nellie stamp, and decided to use the colour combo lilac and turquoise.  The flowers I have made are my favourites at the moment, so I used a Crealies die and cut them in lilac paper, I inked the tips and shaped them.  Then added some stickles and a purple pearl to the centre.

An Old Stamp

Hi to all you lovely bloggers,
And welcome, it's time for me to remind you of our challenges for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts, if you haven't had the chance to join in yet, there's still plenty of time.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Anything Goes' So you can do absolutely anything, but make sure there is stamping there.  I used an old Gorjuss Girl stamp, I haven't used them for ages, and I needed a card for my daughter's Birthday and she does like them and she loves the colour purple.  I did something different this time with my handmade flowers, I stamped on to vellum, added purple embossing powder, then cut them out.  And for anyone who is wondering what die I used for the heart, well I'm sorry but I cut it out of an Anniversary card my Mam sent me.  But wouldn't it be a fabulous die.

For our prize this Month:-

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is also 'Anything Goes'  So you can do absolutely anything for this challenge, just make sure you use a Penny Black on your creation.
I have made a Birthday card for my Hubby, he loves the movie 'The Italian Job', so the stamp is quite fitting for him, I tried to make it look as masculine as I could.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Crafts U love, Flonz,. Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your animal stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

Recipe:-
Stamps - Penny Black 4220K Miniful, Sugar Nellie's Gorjuss girl, The Stampman Funky Flowers,
Papers - LOTV Father Knows Best, Papermania Lucy Cromwell,

Don't like this bear!!!

So why don't I like this bear, it always looks to me that it is made of straw or whicker, and whicker reminds me of the Whicker Man, I watched it with my hubby and absolutely hated it. For A Baby

Hello everyone,
Today see's a new challenge over at Oldie But A Goodie, it is the lovely Annie's turn to pick the theme and she's chosen "For A baby".
And the prizes sponsored by Bron are:-

So please pop on over and take a look at the teams gorgeous creations, and join in. All you need to do is follow the theme, use a stamp (no digi's please), that is older than 6 months old.

This is for the following challenges:-
1. Totally Papercrafts - challenge # 56 - Pearls And Lace
2. Stamp With Fun - challenge # 101 - Monochrome Blue
3. Incy Wincy - challenge 84 - Pastel Colours
4. Dream Valley - challenge 2 - New Beginnings ( I have just found this challenge)

Now I would like to thank all you lovely bloggers that sent well wishes for my eldest Son Scott, who had his operation yesterday and is now at home.
The operation went well although the surgery was more than we originally anticipated, it actually looks like something out of a horror movie, not that I watch them. There is a lot of exposed flesh, and we have to follow quite a few rules, but i'm sure it will all be worth it in the end. And Scott was a star, he did really well and coped brilliantly.

Thank you for stopping by my blog, I hope you have a good week.
