Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.  It is time for another theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this
time it was our lovely Heather's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Wings" - Use something on your creation that has wings, it could be birds, ladybirds or even butterflies.  As soon as I saw the theme I knew which stamp I had to use, Tweet Kisses HMJR1035, my papers are leftovers from a DT kit used at Stamping Sensations.  I used a lot of distress inks on this including to colour my butterflies. For my butterflies I went with London fog Memento ink, it looks a lot more subtle than using black, which sometimes could be harsh.  My eldest son bought me it, how sweet of him, I did wonder what I would use it for as it's not really a stamping colour and i'm not good at using inks for other stuff unless they are distress inks.
Of course you must use a House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.

A Stitch In Time

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.
It is time for me to remind you of the theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Dorte's turn to choose the theme and she chose "I Love You Sew Much" - (stitching real or faux or a sewing image). As soon as I saw the theme I knew which stamp I had to use. It was this stamp JSHM044 Cat Nit.  I added faux stitching to the patterned paper.

A Note Book For A Change

Play It Again!

I was asked to join Joanna Sheen as a GDT for this challenge.  Thank you ladies for having me, it's an honour.

The theme is to only use "Black & White",  there is a £15 Joanna Sheen Gift Voucher up for grabs to the lucky random winner!

I used a Joanna Sheen Guffie stamp and sentiment, I used JSHM057 Friends Like You.  You can find it here.  The music sheet is something I found on Google and I kept the design quite simple really, as I thought it suits a man's card.

Ok so the rain and sleet is coming down and where have I spent the most of this morning, watching my son Bobby playing a football match.  Boy was I proud of him, the score was 1-1 and in the last five minutes Bobby scored winning the game for them , YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!

Special Cuts (Aww......)

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly.  I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.
It is time for a reminder of our theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was Our lovely America's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Anything Goes With A Special Cut" - So that is Die cuts, special cuts or even like me bandaged cuts, I also incorperated die cut flowers and swirls.............. As soon as I saw the theme I knew which stamp I had to use for my M/W reminder, it is a new stamp I haven't used yet, HMJR1101 Dr Amanda.  This card I made for my sister as she had both big toe nails removed and then they got infected and she was layed up for over three weeks.  I had to help her out with jobs, shopping and taking the kids to school and back.  She loved the card and the image made her chuckle.
