Birthday Gift Bag

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.
This is a double post for House Mouse and Prickley Pear

So for the theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Lorraine's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Anything Goes." - So you can make anything, using anything, as long as you use a House MouseHappy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.  I made a gift bag for my mum's birthday chocs from Thorntons, as it's her Birthday on Wednesday.  She likes the Almond Marzipan bars, Yuk! but she loves them, they are just a little extra to her main pressie.

I used this great image Mice Cream Celebration HMUR1023, teamed with one of my favourite paper pads from LOTV, Shabby Shack.  I love altering paper gift bags

Here Kitty!!!

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Mervi's turn to host and she would like to see 'Summer Girls'
Here is what I did, I used a Nicecrane image (see below), and decided to papers with a vintage look to them to go with this sweet image.  This image does remind me of my daughter as she was about three years old when we got her a kitten for her birthday, and that is just how she walked round holding the poor thing.

You can find the image I used here:-
http://nicecranedesigns.com/

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Here are the prizes on offer:-

Flonz $20 store gift voucher

Button for Brains

Today's News:-
As promised to some of you, here are some photo's of my daughter on her prom night.  She is not your normal spray tan and pretty dress kind of girl, but she was true to herself and wore what she liked.  She looked gorgeous and so grown up and it was lovely to see her out of black jeans, as that is all she wears LOL!  The close up is so beautiful I have been for a frame for it, I am taking all the professional photo's down and I've decided I much prefer the more natural photo's we take ourselves, in natural settings.

These photo's seem a bit dark and you can't see her shoes properly!

Recipe:-
Stamps - Nicecrane Nursery Lamp 4, sentiment crafters companion Beatrix Potter,
Papers - LOTV pressed in time,
Tools - Spellbinder dies, grand calibur, CC Designs dies, border punch, signature dies,
Embellishments - gems, ribbon,

Lots Of Rain With A Bit Of Wicked Thrown In

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.

Today's News:-
Now Saturday here in Leeds was a very wet day, what a lot of downpours, Bobby had a Football Gala, and it was so muddy, but surprisingly a good time was had by all.  Bobby scored and took a turn in goal which is something he never does, as he really only plays two positions, Mid Field or Defence.

Photo: A very wet day at Tingley Gala, but some brilliant football played by all.
Well done Hunslet. Well done Bobby for scoring and going in goal, my little star xxx

The whole team went away with big mucky smiles on their faces, and with some good wins under their belts. (Bobby is in the front with his hands on his friends head).
Photo

I didn't think I was going to enjoy it as we was there for the biggest part of the day, but the rain didn't matter, and I had a great time.  I just love seeing these kids with big smiles.
It did take some scrubbing to get Bobby clean I can tell you, but I think it's a day he won't forget.

OMG only seven days to go and I will finally be seeing Wicked, I have waited 9 years to see this after reading the book.  I booked last September for me and my Mam to go, we will be going for a meal first then on to the theatre, we have the best seats in the house, I never go anywhere unless it's as a family/with the kids, so this is a real treat and probably the last for a long time.  I can't wait!!!!!

A Little Birdie.........

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Jo's turn to host and she would like to see 'A One Layer Card'.

Yep this was a hard one for me, I like embellies and layers, but this is what I came up with.  I used  a Tina Wenke stamp and coloured the image, keeping my stamp to the corner I did faux stitching around the rest of the card.  Then cheated a little, or did I? I decoupaged my little butterfly to make him pop.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Our lovely sponsor this week is :-

A Note And Today's Makes

Hello, it's Monday again, it comes round so quickly. I hope you’re all OK and have had a lovely weekend.
This is a double post for House Mouse and Prickley Pear

An Explanation:-
But first I would like to make a big apology, I have been having some on going family issues, they have been quite draining and it has effected my blogging.  In fact some days I have no mojo at all and find making a card difficult.  I mean looking at the card above I am far from satisfied with it!
I know I could take a break from blogging/crafting but I am afraid that if I do that I won't come back to it, and it does help me get through the stress.
So please excuse me if I'm not on the ball and visiting your blogs, I'm just about keeping up with my DT commitments.
Thank you in advance for understanding xxx

So for the theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Pauline's  turn to choose the theme and she chose "Lots Of Layers"
Of course you must use a House MouseHappy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.
