New Musical Mice
So today brings a close to another year, I know you shouldn't wish your life away but I will be glad to see the back of this year. I spent from Boxing day onwards immobilised with what the Emergency Doctors think is a muscle spasm in my lower back, After a visit to the Doctors they say it could be a trapped nerve they can't be certain, but some very strong painkillers are helping me to move about and feel much better than I was.
Anyway moan over now and a new challenge comes today at Allsorts, which hopefully will please you lovely bloggers.
This week is our lovely Mervi's turn to host and she would like to see 'Something New'
My something new is a new House Mouse stamp, a Christmas gift from my Cousin who is over from America visiting for Christmas. It's a large stamp so doesn't allow for much in the way of embellishments but great to colour.
Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
Here is the prize on offer:-

Dachshund Through The Snow
Only a week to go till the man in the red suit pops by, and I'm still not ready but i'm sure I will get there. So Saturday morning means It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Brenda's turn to host and she would like to see 'Blue Bingo' so use the following grid choosing three squares, I chose Blue& Browm, Dimension, Masking.
Here is what I did, for my colours I obviously used Brown & Blue, for my dimension I used some Pinflair Snow Dust and layered up some punched snowflakes. Then I masked my clouds with distress inks.
So this might look like a bit of an odd card but there is a reason for it. My cousin lives in America and for a first is visiting home here in England for Christmas, he usually comes home in the summer. His Fiancee and him have two lovely Dachshunds, so I saw this image and thought it was ideal for their Christmas card. He always comes to our house one evening for dinner, and every time requests Fish and Chips from the fish shop as he can't get them over in America and misses them so much. It does make it easier for me and gives us more quality time together.
Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Christmas Greetings
Welcome on this cold Sunday morning, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Christmas Greetings' So get out your Christmas images and sentiments, as we ask for something with a Christmas sentiment on. I love this stamp and the sentiment on it reads:-
Don't look for cherubs playing harps, golden winged and crowned
But consider the unlikely stranger ...... there are angels all around.
I love colouring this also love the fact I can just fill it with Glamour Dust, as it's quite a big detailed stamp I kept the layout quite simple.
We have sponsorship this Month from

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Anything Christmas With A Stamp' So you can use any Christmas image just make sure you've stamped it and not a digi for this challenge.
I adore this stamp, has to be one of my all time favourite Christmas stamps, it is big and detailed just what I love for colouring. But that does limit embellishments as too many take the detail away from the image I have found. So my Spellbinder Poinsettia dies came in for this card, just love making Poinsettias with these dies as they are really good to use.
We have prizes from Penny Black, Crafts U Love and Crafty Ribbons
