My Journey Book

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Susan's turn to host and she would like to see 'Ribbons & Lace'

I love making journals and notebooks, and thought this weeks theme would be an opportunity to make myself a book as I never do them for myself, they are always gifts or commissions.  As I'm at Weight Watchers I thought I would make this book for that, I have divided it into sections to put recipes in, list the smart points in the regular foods I eat often and things like that.

To make it I used Be Creative papers, the flowers were cut with TH Tattered Floral Dies in white card, stamped in distress inks with a LOTV script stamp and coloured in spun sugar distress inks, then glittered with stickles.  I did some background stamping on the heart and main sentiment also in spun sugar distress inks.  In fact this book is all my favourite things.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Good Morning bloggers, it's the first Saturday of the year, if you have been hit by the floods I do hope your ok and not too much damage.  We were very lucky as we live on a hill but we were only 5-10 mins away from flooded areas in Leeds.  The industrial estate where my husband works was hit pretty bad. But it is effecting the internet and sky, it's been a bit hit and miss over Christmas.
And so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Mervi's turn to host and she would like to see 'What's New', So I've used some new products I got for Christmas, my new items are these fabby papers, gorgeous and cute Fox stamps, and the TH die is new for me, as it was given to me and was a die I had wanted for a long time.  I adore the Fox stamps from Penny Black and love colouring them.  The papers are so me, the colours and patterns, Thank you Brenda, you know me so well.  I finished the card with this Tattered Floral die flower made up then inked and glittered.
