Autumn Butterflies

Good Morning blogging friends, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Tracy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Colours Of Autumn'

So I started this card by using a Tattered Lace embossing Folder with interchangeable sentiment plaques, then coloured it using Distress Inks while masking the centre to leave white.  Then using gold Gilding Wax I highlighted the word sentiment and the embossed butterflies.  I stamped two butterflies and coloured using Spectrum Noirs then sparkled them with Stickles.
I did a gold border with Golden Rod Stickles too.
This is not my usual style of card but after my inky one the other week, and such lovely comments about it,  I'm getting a bit more daring and trying new styles.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'One Layer Christmas Cards' So I used this LOTV snowman stamp and kept the colours toned down as I liked how it was looking, then thought it needed some frosty sparkle.  Added some borders and a sentiment and that's my card done.

Igloo Bears

Good Morning, Hope you are all well on this Saturday morning, Christmas is fast approaching so the Christmas cards will be appearing now and as it's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts, I thought I'd get one in.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Blue & Brown'

So I started with this image of these cute bears from Lily Of The Valley, and as the theme is blue & brown that is my colour palette for colouring the image then matched up the papers.  I made snowflakes from three different dies/punches, glittered them then layered them up.  I finished off with a ticket sentiment and a bow.
