Hanging Out
Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Brenda's turn to host and she would like to see 'All about Animals'
It is National Pet Awareness month which runs until 5th May and this weeks is also RSPCA week, not to mention World Veterinary week from the 30th, so all in all lots happening associated with our beloved pets.
All promote the care and welfare of domestic animals be they small or large, the clue is in the title but basically we would like to see anything from mice to canaries, cat's and dogs right up to donkeys and horses.
I thought I would use this Barkley stamp, with the dog and cat on, chilling in an hammock. I'm not myself this week and struggled with my mojo, so not entirely happy with it.

Book Recommendation Welcome
So my Husband John and my Daughter Jodie put together and bought me a Kindle Paperwhite for my Birthday. I haven't read in bed for a couple of years now as it keeps John awake, I so missed reading in bed especially 2 & 3 o'clock in the morning when I can't sleep. I am looking for recommendations for a good read. I read historical romance, fantasy and general fiction. My favourite Authors are Josephine Cox, Lena Kennedy, Dilly Court. Philippa Gregory and William Horwood. I have every book that Josephine Cox and Lena Kennedy have written and currently collecting Dilly Court and Philippa Gregory. I am a bit OCD with my books, I keep them and can't get rid of any, I can't let anyone else read them, and I can only read new books, not ones from the library or a charity shop I'm afraid. I have to collect every book written by the Author, and read them in order of the date they are written, this is where the website Fantastic Fiction comes in handy, I use it all the time. If I like the book I can read them more than once too.
So I'm looking at the following Authors Rita Bradshaw, Katie Flynn, Rosie Goodwin and Lyn Andrews, I haven't read any of there's yet. So if any one has an opinion on these Authors it would be welcome.
I do read other books, I read a lot of Auschwitz survivor books too.
I'd love some feedback on this and thank you in advance.

Bright & Breezy
Happy Easter to all my blogging friends, hope you have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend.
It's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'One For The Girls' , I made a Birthday card for my Weight Watchers Buddy, we text each other daily supporting each other and helping each other when we are lacking will power, this card just seemed to some all this up. I started with the washing line, added the pegs and clothes, then paper pieced the dress and bra. Did a distressed inked background, added grass and some birds and my sentiment. The stamps are a freebie set from a magazine, and I really enjoyed using them.
We have sponsorship this Month from
'be Creative! with a £25 voucher
And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.
This is for the following challenges:-
1. Cute card Thursday - #523 - Add A Quote
2. Crafty Creations - #363 - Anything Goes
3. Simon Says Stamp Wednesday - Anything Goes
And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Black, White + One' So you can use black and white then choose one other colour for this challenge. I chose orange as my + one colour, using these geese I thought an Anniversary card would be good. I started by using distressed ink for a background then die cut a heart and inking that too. I then used some stamps round the edge and using foam pads after fussy cutting my geese put them in the centre. I die cut a frame and added sentiments.
We have prizes from Penny Black, Woodware stamp, Sizzix. Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your animal stamps out isn't it!!!!!!
Now if you would like to be a GDT for us, all you need to do is make a creation to fit the theme following our rules.
