Hi all,
And welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Free & Easy' So you can do whatever you like just as I did. I did a candle in a vintage style using a Nicecrane image which you can find here:-
http://nicecranedesigns.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=46&products_id=1196

I did have to mess about getting the image to print on tracing paper, but the finished result was worth it. I made poinsettia's for round the base, and I will be making a gift box for this, that will follow soon.
Here is the sentiment I stamped for the back of the candle:-
And now a close up of the poinsettia's:-
We have sponsorship this Month from Visible Image and this is the prize they have offered:-

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.
And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Traditional Christmas Colours' So you can use any stamp but just keep your colour scheme tradional please. for this challenge. I used my new stamp Joy Filled Christmas, it's so big there's not much room for embellies, but do you need them with this image. I used a Flonz sentiment to finish off.
We have prizes from Penny Black, Classy Crafts, Flonz and Stix2. Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your animal stamps out isn't it!!!!!!
Now if you would like to be a GDT for us, all you need to do is make a creation to fit the theme following our rules.
Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.
Today's News:-
Thought I'd show you a photo of our new edition, this is Wolfie (the name he came to us with), he is now 9 weeks old and settled in so well, although I'm seriously thinking of changing his name to RASCAL, because that is what he is. A little monkey but we love him so much. My sister said he looks evil, how can anyone say that about him, he looks adorable. My husband did say if we get heavy rains our house will float away because it's now like Noah's Ark.
Thank you for popping by my blog. And welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.
