A Gift Box

I hope everyone is having a good Bank Holiday monday. Today see's another challenge over at Die Cut Dreams, and the theme this time is to make a gift box or bag. We are sponsored by our lovely DT buddy Lynne at Crafts 4 You, check out her store as she has a Bank Holiday Bonanza on. The team have made the most wonderful creations, so plenty of inspiration to see.

I lost a big lump of my week last week trying to get back a load of files lost on my computer, they had a lot of digi images and backing papers I have bought and won, photographs and word documents. I have checked every file and the recycling bin, searched every possible way and they have definately gone. I have managed to get a few images back through going back into e-mails, but ones like Kenny K can't be downloaded a second time. So i'm wondering if one of the kids has done it by accident. But I was quite pi**ed off last week, I had quite a lot of DT work to do which isn't always easy with 3 kids fighting around you, so losing all my stuff on the computer was the last thing I needed.

This Gift box is also for:-
1. Creative Card Crew - Handmade flowers
2. Creative Inspirations - Last Challenge - Recipe - set 3 Vintage, ribbon, flowers
3. Dutch Dare - #127 - Anything But A card
4. I Brake For Challenges - C8 - Shabby Chic
5. Creative Craft Challenges - Anything But A card

Thank you for stopping by my blog
Happy crafting

Hi Tracy

Sorry to hear you have lost loads of stuff. Is it worth contacting a techy expert to see if they know somewhere else you can look? I lost my hard drive earlier this year and lost loads of photos plus downloads I can't get back - really upsetting I know. We now have an external hard drive as a back up.
By the way your box is absolutely stunning. Love the flower.

Hugs Ali x

Hey sweetie - I can totally feel for you as last year my computer just wouldn't fire up and I was mortified that I had lost all my stuff too. I took my PC in to our local techy and he managed to recover all my photos, word documents and digis, the only thing I lost was all my emails, in the scheme of things that wasn't so bad. We now have an external hard drive where I back up to every week. Worth taking it in, you never know - it only cost me £20.00! Gorgeous box sweetie - these would be fab for a wedding. Hugs, Claire x

Such a beautiful box,Tracy.
So sorry to hear about your lost files......but Cheryl is right....a techie person may well be able to retrieve them.It might also be worth passwording your part of the computer,so the kids can't mess with your stuff!!!

Aww Tracy, sounds like you had an awful week !!! That is awful, losing all your backing papers and digi images. Have you tried taking it into PC World or the like? they can access the System Folder and usually there are copies of stuff in there.
I love your gift box - it's gorgeous! What a fab idea to put feathers with the flowers - looks really good!
Hope this week is better for you!
Big Hugs Sue xx

This came out beautiful, Is there a recipe that goes with it?
I'm curios what papers you used and pens or inks SVG or cartridge? If you wouldn't mind sharing that info I would love for yu to e-mail me. My E-mail is on my blog.

Oh my goodness Tracy how devastating.
I would not only be P.O'd I think I may break down and cry.
But with all that you still were able to make a gorgeous project. Those flowers are beautiful, and the feathers are the perfect touch.
