Birthday Wishes

Hello, I hope your all having a lovely Bank holiday Monday, the weather here has been beautiful over the weekend.
It is time for me to remind you of the theme over on the House Mouse and Friends Monday Challenge, this time it was our lovely Stacy's turn to choose the theme and she chose "Flower Power or Flour Power" - You can either use a mouse with flowers or cooking flour.   I decided on this stamp HMUR1002 Blowing Dandelions, as I was going with Flowers, I don't have a House Mouse stamp with Flour on.
Of course you must use a House Mouse, Happy Hopper or Gruffie to join in.

We are sponsored by

£10 Gift voucher goes to the lucky winner.

Thanks for looking, the DT have all made gorgeous cards for your inspiration so hop on over to the HM&F Monday Challenge to see them.

Today's news:-

I haven't got round to doing much blogging after having an accident yesterday.  My two big ones went to a music festival in Leeds yestrerday, so we decided to have a couple of hours at the park, took a football for a kick about with Bobby.  John and Bobby was passing to each other and the ball rolled off the grass on to the pavement so I went to kick it back to them, with a nice hard kick.  I didn't realise there was concrete edging around the grass and I not only kicked the ball but the kerb /edging too.  I knew straight away I had done some damage.
So I went home took off my trainer and sock and POW it felt like my toe had exploded, it was swelling as we were looking at it and turning black at the same time.  I said to John that I thought I'd broke it, but my nail was going black.
Went to the A&E, and had x-rays, they said there is a lot of swelling and bruising but couldn't see a break, but had to have my nail drilled to release the pressure and build up of blood under the nail.  Yep I have a very painful foot and won't be kicking any footballs anytime soon.  I'm supposed to keep it elevated for a couple of days and keep the dressing on and resting it for the next 5-7 days.

But I am booked into a workshop at  LOTV  next Saturday, and even if I have to hobble I will be there, plus I'm meeting Susan too (my Penny Black @ Allsorts team mate), and I can't let her down.  We haven't met before, so I'm looking forward to it.  We are doing a candle, this will be my second workshop, I enjoyed the first one so much I booked straight in for this one.

I hope that your foot gets better quickly, I did something similar many years ago and I know how painful something like this can be. Feel better soon. Hugs, Jen :-) x

Oh my, so sorry to hear about your injury. I am not sure what would have hurt more, you kicking the curb or the doctor drilling into your toe nail...Ouch.
Now onto happy things, your card is adorable as always. Your colouring is always perfect and the colours are so soft and pretty.
