Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Helene's turn to host and she would like to see 'Outside The Box'. which is to use something that wasn't intended for crafting e.g. household item, candy wrapper, bottle cap etc............
Before I give you the rest of the details, here are some more views of my creation.
What I started with:-
A Pringle tub.
Now for my side view:-
Now for the lid:-
Here is what I did, I used a Lili Of the Valley stamp, and decided to use my Nitwit papers to cover a pringle tub, thought it would make a pretty storage tub. The flower on top is made using pages of an old book, cut with a scalloped Nestie die, sprayed with Perfect Pearls in a mister bottle, then scrunched together. Added a punched border round the bottom, then added a couple of bows with a rose on.
I did rack my brains a bit and couldn't think what to do, but once I saw the pringle tub, that one of the kids had thrown in the top of the bin, it all started to come together in my head. You'll be surprised what you can find to use.
See bottom of my post for full Recipe.
Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
Here is the prize on offer:-
5 images of winners choice
DigiDarla is the brain child of Kim Eskola and her daughter Emilea and both enjoy creating and when the idea of creating digital stamps came up, it sounded like the most wonderful way to earn ever! The stamps you will find in the store and on this site come from our art as well as a few family friends that help to digitize so we can keep up.
