Vintage Gifts

Good Morning,
Well Christmas Eve is here and I have three excited kids waiting for tomorrow, can't believe how quick this Christmas has come round.  Everything is all done, just going to get the hoover out and one last dust round, all the shopping is done, so if I have forgot something we will do without LOL!
I just have my Christmas Eve trip to my sisters to see the twins before they go off to their Dads tomorrow, and we have an early Christmas day where we exchange presents today and are very naughty and open them too.  Well me and my sister like to see the kids faces when they open them.

This is quite a long post, well picture heavy anyway.  These are last of my Christmas gifts I have made, and all the images used are from the lovely Ignacio from Nicecrane, there are links to all images at the bottom of this post.

 I Design For

 Right lets get to it:-
In this picture you can see Candles with matching gift boxes and also a tree decoration and gift box to go with it.

Below is two gift boxes that I designed myself to fit the candles, I had to allow for the doily and the flowers when sizing this up, then re-inforced all the sides and bottom as the candles are fairly heavy.  Now they are really solid and hopefully if the candles aren't lit and used for decoration the boxes will keep the candles in good condition till next year.

Now I did four different images around the boxes and a fifth on the candles, there are five images on this sheet from Nicecrane (see below)

Here are the lids, I made Poinsettias for the lid and the candle, each flower has three layers, my arm was killing after winding my Grand Calibur god knows how many times.  I used an A4 embossing folder instead of DP for the gift boxes, I really liked the finished result and made a change from my normal vintage papers.

OK we can't have one without Santa Claus on can we, and I do love a vintage Santa.

Here is a view to another side of the box:-

Now a bit ago I made a tree decoration using the Nicecrane pyramid sheet, and it needed a gift box so I could give it as a present:-

Aww my decoration has slid down in the box through propping it up, the box fits perfectly too.

Well I hope this gave you some inspiration for gifts for next Christmas, I thoroughly enjoyed making them all, and do hope they will be well received by my family.

So now for the links to the Nicecrane images I have used:-
