Hi all,
And welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenge this could be the one for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Things with Wings' So get out your Birdie stamps, fairy stamps or any other stamp you may have with wings. There's lots of scope with this one, I used a Kraftin' Kimmie fairy stamp called Bird Fairy, I love these stamps. I have tried something different, as you know apart from distressing I'm not an inky person, but my best friend Brenda does some fabulous inking, and I'm always saying to her I wish I could do some of that. So I took the plunge and tried to give this stamp some dimension by stamping vines around the image, maybe she's sat in a secret garden cloaked in vines. Hope Brenda approves LOL! We all have to step out of our comfort zone sometime.

Oh yes indeed Tracy, I most certainly do approve and I am certain she is actually one of the fairies down the bottom of my garden.
I have seen one or two ventures into ink on your blog the last week or two and although I know it's outside your comfort zone, but each has been beautifully done and have a feeling we will be seeing more of the same from you.
So as for your two cards today both are a delight and even hedgie has a few inked clouds behind him.

Two gorgeous cards, Tracy! I love them both, but the inky surround to the first is truly magical! As always, the colours you have used are breathtaking, and the fairy's hair looks amazing! As Brenda says, it may be outside your comfort zone to get inky, but from here it looks like you are a natural xxx
Oh what gorgeous cards, love the fairy one but Hedgie is so cute too.

two beautiful cards, but of course i'm partial to hedgies and snails just because they're too cute. :)
Beautiful cards both, so cute images;-))m
Haven't seen that fairy before, Tracy, but she's absolutely gorgeous, and what a stunning job you've made of her. Plenty of depth and texture making a lovely scene, quite magical. Same with the hedgie card. You should definitely get inky more often!

Your fairy card is stunning Tracy. I rarely do fairies but would not turn my nose up and this one lol. The wee hedgie one is absolutely adorable.
