We have prizes from Penny Black, All Occasion Dies, Sizzix, Kraftyhands   Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your animal stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

So here's more information on my Notebook/Journal:-
My Daughter asked me to make her a Notebook/Journal a while ago, she wanted it to be based on her favourite film 'Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd' I think she'd forgotten she'd asked for it as she looked really surprised when she opened it.  Now to make this I watched the movie so I could incorporate elements from the film, not my kind of film although I did think it would be more gory than it was.  It is actually a bit of a dark love story.

This is what I started with

I covered the front with vintage papers, tearing and using distress inks.

I added a punched border and lace down one side.  Mrs Lovett's dress has black and red lace on the bustle.

Here are all my handmade embellishments, The cogs are cut with dies then stamped with a matching set of stamps, I embossed the edges with my own mixture of powders to make them look old.  The images and posters are printed, I stamped and inked a pocket watch.

This is the inside of the cover, I made a pocket for Jodie to keep loose papers in.

For the heart I cut a red one then over stamped it, covered it with crackle glaze, then cut a scalloped heart.  I used a safety pin with a charm on to add interest to the heart.

For the film strip I stamped it then cut out the squares, I stamped some cogs and pocket watch, coloured them with distress inks and fitted them behind the strip.  I used glossy accents to glaze the whole film strip.

I added charms to some chain and hung them from the spiral, added some flowers and corners.  I think I covered everything, there is details of everything in the recipe below.

Where to start Tracy, I love the rich colours of your PB&M piece and the subtle hints of glitter which really lift it.

Then there is your journal, so much work and although I am not up the movie I know you put in so much research to get it all right and I am sure Jodie adores it.

Hope you have a good Sunday.
