Focus On The Journey

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Wendy's turn to host and she would like to see 'Transport', whether it be Boat, Train, Hot Air Balloon or a Bicycle, there's lots to choose from.

I made a card for my husband, I started by using some Distress Oxides and making a backing paper, then stamped all over with a HOTP map stamp.  The car and the sign post are also HOTP, I covered the car in glossy accents for a nice shine.  After stamping the signpost with Distress Ink Ground Espresso I dragged the colour with a paint brush to colour it, then stamped the words, then just to give it an extra shine I used clear embossing powder to cover it.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Here is the prize on offer:-

From our lovely sponsor - Clever Cut

Recipe:-
Stamps - Hot Of The Press, Dovecraft
Colouring Mediums - Spectrum Noirs, Distress Oxides, Distress Inks,
Tools - Heat Gun, Embossing Powder, Glossy Accents,

Thanks for popping by my blog.
Happy crafting

What a great card for your Hubby, great idea to have the map as a background and love the sign posts and the super car.
I had the journey from hell last Thursday, we only went to Marks at Pudsey, been many times but Chris wanted to drive. With one things and another what is normally a 30 minute journey, took us an hour and a half, with one things and another, the worst thing is I didn't buy anything when we got there.
