Prickly Pear Hopping

The time has come....the moment we can reveal the Prickley Pear Spring/Summer 2014 collection!  We are celebrating with a 3 day blog hop event!  Join us each day as the new Design Team showcases the new products!  As always, leave comments on each and every blog post along the way since there will be one winner selected for each day's comments!  We will select our winners on April 20 and they will be announced on April 21 in our Monday inspiration post!

For this card I used  HH0161 Victorian Trike, I stamped it in distress ink. I then used distressed inks for the background and stamped cogs from the clear set CLR025 Steampunk Gears Clear set.  And to finish off my card I die cut cogs and gears from two die sets D025 Steampunk Dies set and D035 Mini Gears Dies set, heat embossed them with a mixture of powders to get a metal look.

    Beautiful card, love how you used the Distress Inks. The bike and stamped cogs go so well together. It has a great Steampunk feel too.
