Tissue Box Tutorial

Good Morning, this is a tutorial I have done for Prickley Pear, it's to make a Tissue Box, an ideal little something to give to someone who has a cold and needs a little cheering up.

So here are the materials you will need to make it:-

PPRS CLR013C Scalloped Circles and Ovals 4 clear set
D041 Scallop Circle Nesting Set
A4 sheet of card
Patterned Paper
flowers
Brad (for the center of flower)
Velcro or Magnet for closure of box
Sentiment printed onto safmat

So here's what to do:-

Draw this template on to your piece of A4 card, (click on the picture to enlarge), all the measurements are there.

Cut out the template and score along the dotted lines and fold.  At this point you also need to cut into the front of the box so you can pull out your tissues easily.

Now measure and cut panels of patterned paper to decorate your box as in picture above, using either a wet glue or strong red D/S tape, assemble the box, it's easy to see where you need the adhesive.

It should now look like this.  Now it's time to add decoration and velcro.

For my sentiment I typed it up on the computer and then printed onto Safmat, I coloured a Prickley Pear stamp, these cute ducks and added to the front, then I just added flowers with a brad in the centre.

Now just add a packet of tissues and you have the perfect little gift to cheer up someone with the sniffles!

Thank you for looking at my tutorial
Happy crafting
