Couldn't Be More Different

Welcome to my blog, I have two creations today and they couldn't be more different to each other, it's a new month for challenges Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Trees, Leaves Or Autumn', well I had to go with my new Lavinia stamps for this one.  I normally struggle with this kind of theme, so it was so nice to be able to just start stamping and inking and no worrying about what I was going to do.  First I created the background with a Gel Plate, then kept adding the stamping in various colour inks.  Stencilled in a moon, added some highlight with a white gel pen and some shimmer round the moon with a gelly roll pen. You can't see it on the photo but I also added some Sprinkle Its in Iridescent Gold.

We have sponsorship this Month from

Stamp Addicts

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

This is for the following challenges:-
1. Crafty Calendar Challenge - October - Autumn Colours
2. Lavinia World - #10 - Anything Goes
3. Crafty Gals Corner - #199 - Fall Colours

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Pretty In Pink', so I thought this cute image would be great for this challenge, I just went all pink and flowery, I made my own flowers using Tattered Lace dies and coloured them with Distress Inks, I love the effect I get with the inks.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Lost Coast Designs and Visible Image Stay Strong stamp  Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your pretty stamps out isn't it!!!!!!

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

Indeed they are so different Tracy, the Autumnal one has so much depth and the white highlighting on the branch really brings the Fairy to life. By contrast your PB creation is beautifully soft and delicate and perfectly coloured in.

As Sandra said, welcome to inkiness - also called the dark side of crafting!

Oh my, Tracy! The colors in your fairy card are incredible! I especially like the use of the branch in two directions, and the foliage framing your entire piece. It's lovely! So happy I saw your pretty card at Lavinia World Challenges >. Hope to see more of your creations in the future.

Sounds like you had fun with the first card’s techniques and I love the moon. Of course the second card is adorable; that stamp is still one of my PB favourites.
