Christmas Baubles And Caroling

Welcome, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Traditional christmas Colours'  I used a Stamps By Chloe Card Making collection, Issue 4 Christmas for all my card except for the matting and layering card.  The baubles are stamped then embossed with gold embossing powder, the white base card is embossed then I added the colour baubles and glittered the tinsel.  Then bows I made by stamping them and embossing them then cutting them out.

We have sponsorship this Month from

Chocolate Baroque  and the prize is:-
Let's Get Festive Rubber stamp sheet - A5Hark the Christmas Rose individual unmounted rubber stamp - A6

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Christmas'  I just love this image, it's one of my favourite Penny Black Christmas stamps.  I went with neutral colours then just added a burst of red.  My backing paper I made using oxides and stamping snowflakes with Distressed Inks.  Added cotton lace and a handmade flower.

We have prizes from Penny Black & Crafts U Love

Two such different cards Tracy, your SS one has a lovely CAS feel to it and such delicately cut our bows. And your PB made is coloured beautifully and the hints of red really lift the sepia tones.

They are both beautiful cards Tracy. Loving those mice, I may need to use that stamp for my midmonth make. It's been a while since I've inked it up!

The bauble card is gorgeous, Tracy, so beautifully traditional and elegant. Must confess the Christmas mice just have the edge for me, though. Loving the touch of red.
