From The Very Large To The very Small

Welcome to a new month and new challenges for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'All Creatures Great & Small'  I chose to use a stamp from our very kind sponsor called On Safari (CI-390). I created a background using Distress Inks, then stamped the image over the top, I coloured my image and grass with Water coloured pencils.  The border was stamped using a tribal border stamp, a freebie from the Creative Stamping magazine. I added a Sentimentally Yours sentiment and then left it at that as I felt it really didn't need anything else

We have sponsorship this Month from

Crafty Individuals with a very generous prize of a £25 voucher

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'In The Garden'  It would be nice if you could use a Penny black stamp but if not anything that ties in with our Garden theme is fine.

I chose the image as it's so cute, I coloured it with Distress Inks so I could match the image to the background which is created using Distress Oxides. I did the Bokeh effect on my background then overstamped with Lavinia Poppies and Meadow Grass.  I loved this background so much I intend to make a card using the same design without a focal image on top.

We have prizes from Penny Black and Blade Rubber Craft

Two lovely cards Tracy, the PB hedgie is beautifully coloured but it's those Elephants that steal the show today, your colouring makes them so lifelike and I don't think I've ever seen that CI stamp before anywhere.

Love how you used the stamps on your first card, so effective. What a sweet second card, with a lovely stamped and inky background too.
