Some Brusho's, Some Oxides & Some Creating

Welcome to my blog, it's Mid Month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'I Love ..............' I love Gift Bags, Lavinia and Scenes.
So starting with a plain gift bag, I created a background using Dylusions and Oxides.  I built a scene with Lavinia stamps,  Highlighting and embellishing with a signo gel pen and some glitter.

We are really pleased to welcome a new sponsor this month who are offering one lucky winner as £25 store voucher, they have a super web site covering all styles of crafting so do go and check it out.

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Hand Coloured Or Paper Pieced Image' , I went with hand coloured, colouring with Distress Inks, .  The background wad made using Oxides and the smooch technique.

Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.
From the lovely

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

This is my second post for the team at the  Chocolate Baroque blog, and a creation from my first Tv show from last month in May.

To create this I used  Distress Oxides over a moon mask, I stamped my tree from Orchard tree set,  with Versafine Clair.  I sprinkled some brusho's lightly over the branches then with a fine mist added a little bit of water to activate the Brusho's.  I then added a sentiment from the set called Life Is So Much Better.

Recipe:-
Stamps - Life Is So Much BetterOrchard Trees,  Lavinia  - Aurora, star blossom, meadow grass, single fairy thistle, thistle, small trees,
Colouring Medium - Distress oxide, Versafine Clair, Brusho's.  Faber-Castell Aqua pencils,  Dylusions sprays, Oxide Sprays, Distress Inks,
Tools - Signo gel pens, Moon mask, Embellishments - Lavinia starbrights glitter - fairy tales,

Thank you for looking and I will see you later in the month with another creation
Happy Crafting

A trio of real beauties Tracy, the gift bag is a delight with the magical scene. The sepia tones of the CB house card compliment the design of the image really well and your final Tree creation a lovely sunny scene.

Love the colours on your Lavinia make and the way you sprinkled the colour through the tree card. Great colouring of the house and wonderful background.
