From Summer To Winter

Welcome to my blog, a bit windy, grey and overcast here, but great for getting the washing dry.

I'm here with the mid month posts for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Any Celebration' , I've gone with a Christmas Celebration for my card this week,  on Saturday I blogged a card with a summery design, and I liked the card so I have decided to use the design again but with a wintery scene for Christmas. I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to snow and totally rubbish at capturing sparkle on camera, and this has lots of sparkle.

We have sponsorship this Month from
and the prize is:-

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Favourite Stamps'  and my favourite from Chocolate Baroque is definitely  Honey Bee, I loved using these stamps for their shows in July so much,  I decided to create a little concertina book and backgrounds with Distress Oxide for the base.  All the stamps are from the set, I thought it was a good way to showcase them.

Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.
From the lovely

Chocolate Baroque

There will be two Chocolate Baroque shows on The Craft Store on Friday 6th August at 9am and 1pm, one show will feature two excitingly different A4 stamp sets from new artist Fiona Randall and the second some beautiful Christmas stamps and new seasonal sentiments.

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

Contrasts here Tracy, the first one with the Tree of Courage has such a peaceful feel to it. By comparison Honey Bee has given a wonderful summer feel to the second, all we need now is for the weather to catch on to the idea.

Two stunning creations, Tracy. You know I always love your Lavinia cards, this one no different with the nice and peaceful winter scene, but what an amazing concertina book you created with the CB stamps and inking! Just beautiful with all those details! And of course I love everything bee related!

The winter scene looks stunning, you've really captured a very frosty feel to this card. Love the concertina card using all the images from the set, the backgrounds are gorgeous too.
