Clean And Simple

I really fancied doing something different today, and my first Christmas card, so I decided on going "clean and simple", and enjoyed it too. And of course these are one of my favourite Penny Black critters, I got them from here, at Sir Stampalot.

I made this to go into two challenges:-

Penny Black At Allsorts - September - Punch Away (snowflake border punch, two different snowflake punches), they also have a DT call at the moment too

Colour Create - challenge 53 - Red, Gold and White

My am I lost with out the kids, it is so quiet and I miss Bobby so much, he is enjoying school though. He has had a couple of accidents, yesterday he came home with two cuts on his fingers where he had trapped them in a door, poor little thing, but he's brave and it hasn't put him off in the slightest. At the moment he can't wait to get there.

Different story for my daughter Jodie though she had the cancer jab yesterday, totally mixed feelings for us, we discussed it and I had reasons against and reasons for it, after lots of talk we decided to let her have it.

So I have been trying to get around everyone's blog but finding it hard as there seems to be alot going on at the moment at home, and a few issues have cropped up with certain family members.

But i'm sure things will be resolved one way or another, and we can all get on with things. And I can get back to blogging properly, instead of stealing bits of time here and there.

Hope you are all well and not having as much rain as we are.

Happy crafting

Tracy x

Hi Tracy

Clean and simple looks very good, I really like it. The first one for the Christmas pile then, only......to go.

Please Bobby is getting on OK at school, it's always a worry how they will settle.

Thank you for joining in at Penny Black at Allsorts this month and good luck.

A fantastic card Tracy, children bring us so much joy, but we can't help but worry that what we are doing is for the best. I'm sure you made the right decision, I cried horribly in the surgery whem Mackenzie had her first MMR, it was at the height of the scare, they had to sit me down & although they are not supposed to influence you in away I think they felt that was their only option with me.
So glad I did it though.
Sorry for waffling LOL
Thanks for joining Penny Black @ ALLSORTS this month, hope you will join us again, good luck

I wish I could do your "simple" cards.
So glad that your son is enjoying school, its easier on us :)
I am not sure what the cancer jab is, I am assuming its a vaccine of some sort?

This is so lovely card, Tracy. If I try clean and simple - I always put too much things to it, have to learn and try...
Thanks for your visit, hope all goes well at home, I'm well, except for I had to visit dentist yesterday and my mouth is still a little under anaesthetic,

Love your CAS card Tracy, definitley nice for a christmas card. Glad Bobby has settled well in school, but your right about a quiet house, make hay while the sun shines (or rain falls in your case lol). My daughter had that jab too, hope its for the best!
