Wands & Rods
It's time for the mid month post for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Things With Wings' so it could be Butterflies, Ladybirds, Aeroplanes, or even Fairies. I used this gorgeous Lili Of The Valley Birthday Fairy. I usually go for pinky colour combo's but I decided on this peach and lemon colour combination and love it. This pretty die by Cheery Lynn meant I didn't have the need for much in the way of embellishments.
We have sponsorship this Month from
And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.
And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'For Boys And Men', So just go masculine for this challenge. I don't have much in the way of male stamps in my Penny Black collection, I do need more but this little fishing Hedgie is cute. I like to keep masculine cards quite simple so an embossing folder, brads and ribbon is about all I needed.
We have prizes from Penny Black, Crafts U Love plus A Clarity Art stencil . Now isn't that a lot of prizes, definitely worth getting your masculine stamps out isn't it!!!!!!
Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

The Night Sky
Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Ellie's turn to host and she would like to see 'Sun, Moon, Stars or Baby'
Sometime ago I bought a Sheena Douglass Mystery bag from Crafters Companion, in it was some sparkle pens and I had no idea what to do with them. Anyway just by pure accident I was stuck on the sofa with a very swollen ankle at the weekend and put YouTube on, I very rarely watch it. I searched for Sheena Douglass as I like her stuff, and low and behold there was a background tutorial using the sparkle pens. So using that tutorial I made this background with 3 colours, water and salt, you can't see the sparkle on the photo but it's there.
Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Getting Inky And Paint Splats
It's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Things With Wings' so it could be Butterflies, Ladybirds, Aeroplanes, or even Fairies. I used this gorgeous Fairy Mouse, I saw this and just had to have it and I love colouring it up. I made my own background and backing paper all with oxides and a stencil.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'For Boys And Men', So just go masculine for this challenge. I don't have much in the way of male stamps in my Penny Black collection, so I tend to go for this one which is super cute. I was a bit stuck as I didn't want to go too fussy by using patterened paper so I made my own. I'm doing this a lot lately making my own backgrounds.
