Everyone Needs A Thistlehog

Good Morning bloggers, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Lynn's turn to host and she would like to see 'So Cute'

A while a go at the start of lockdown my Daughter surprised me with these Thistlehogs from Pink Ink Designs, I've been waiting to use them and this is the perfect theme, as I think they are definitely SO CUTE.  At first I made a different card but it went in the bin, it took me a while to get my head around it because of it's size.  So when I got it's perspective and got my Lavinia foliage stamps out it started to come together on a gel plate and brusho's background.  There is sparkle on his wings and through the hanging foliage in various glitters and Glamour dust.

Fur-ever Friends

Good Morning bloggers, I hope your all keeping safe and well, it's Saturday morning so It's time for a new challenge today at Allsorts.
This week is our lovely Ellie's turn to host and she would like to see 'Pets'

For my creation this week I started by creating a background that I saw on a tutorial by Jo Rice on Youtube.  I started by dragging distress ink down my card, then bringing another colour in from the sides.  Using a splot stamp and some script, I randomly stamped over the top, finally using a lid I dipped in some Gesso and put some circles on to my background.
My stamps are freebies from Creative Stamping and I masked the cat and the rabbit to add the dog. I coloured them with Distress Inks.

Don't forget to head over to Allsorts for all the details of this challenge, and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.

Butterflies and Butterflies

Hello, I hope your all safe and well,  it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Make It Colourful', for my creation I made a tag using Chocolate Baroque stamp sets.  The background is made using Distress Oxides, then stamped with words and splots, and then the main image stamped.  I stamped the butterflies separately, coloured them then decoupaged them onto the tag.  And then just added ribbons.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Favourite Stamps', so a very long time ago a blogging frien borrowed me this stamp so I could stamp some out to use.  Then later I mentioned on my blog that I loved this image and had looked for the stamp but couldn't find it, and as if by magic it appeared on my doormat one day, a gift from my wonderful friend Brenda.  So it has a special place in my heart and so it's more than just my favourite stamp, it's very special to me.
Onto the card, another Distress Oxide background, with Sentimentally Yours butterflies stamped on it.  My image was water coloured with Distress Inks so that everything matched colour wise, added sparkle to the wings and all done!
