In The Sunshine

Welcome to a new month for Stamping Sensations and Penny black & More @ Allsorts challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Make It Masculine'  Lighthouse scenes are always good for men.  I used two stamps the lighthouse with the rocks and then some sea with boats.  I just masked and filled in the rest of the sea with a fine liner pen.  The sky was done using a stencil brush with distress inks and so was the sun through a mask.  I coloured it all with Distress inks, which I enjoy using for that water coloured effect.

The prizes for this Month are:-

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for Penny black & More @ Allsorts, where the theme is 'Say It With Flowers'  I'm not sure about this design, don't know if I like it or not, but I do love the girl and really enjoyed colouring her with Distress Inks, to add some interest to the white space I put some Liquid Pearls on.

We have prizes from Penny Black, Stamp Addicts   Definitely worth getting your Penny Black stamps out isn't it!

Are you wanting some inspiration, pop on over to the challenge blog and then you can see all the wonderful creations from the rest of the talented team.

Such a peaceful and tranquil Ocean scene Tracy and an awesome sea with the variants in waves. How nice a day at the beach would be - if it was not for the inevitable crowds, idiots and of course COVID.

Your little PB girl is a delight as well and the complimentary backing.

Two fab cards Tracy. I think I may have the stamps that you've used on your top card, so I need to dig them out again x

Your lighthouse scene is just beautiful. Your PB girl looks like she is gazing at all the sunflowers, I think it's a great design and so sweet.

A lovely masculine card, Tracy, and i love the sweet PB sunflower girl. I like how you’ve divided the card and repeated the flowers off to one side.

Such a lovely summery scene on your lighthouse card, Tracy. You can almost feel the warmth of the sun. Love how your second card also references the sunshine theme, yet is so different! The little girl image is gorgeous. xx
