Good Morning and welcome, Since the last time I posted we have had heavy snow which caused my Husband and Daughter to have to leave work early as the roads had become undrivable. A power cut that lasted half the day, even the supermarket had to close. Still doing Home Schooling although Bobby is proving very difficult to keep focused. So I find myself with no laptop from 8.30 - 2.30 while Bobby does his school work and can't do much anyway as he needs supervision or else he doesn't get any work done.
So on to reason for why I am here, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.
At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'Colour My World' so we would like to see lots of colour, which hopefully I captured in my piece. I started my background using Dylusion sprays and Distress Oxides. I created a moon and some stars. Then I made up the rest of my scene with Lavinia stamps.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Flowers, Birds and Butterflies' For this creation I used the stamp set Thistle butterfly, I stamped the main image and then coloured with Distress Inks, stamping the butterflies again, colouring them then decoupaging them on to the image, I gave it a colour wash background. The background card was coloured with oxide ink then stamped on with Crafty Individuals stamp Inky Script in a contrasting colour.
Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.

Certainly sounds like you have had your fair share of snowy weather up there Tracy, we are promised some today.
There is so much drama in your Dragon card with the intense colours, by comparison Thistle Butterfly looks soft and delicate.

Two stunning cards Tracy and both very different. I love the colours and the design of your first card and the second one is really pretty, the butterflies look great. We had snow again late last night but it’s all gone again this morning. Take care and keep up the good work with the home schooling x
You created a wonderful magical scene with the castles and dragons and such gorgeous colours. The floral butterfly card by contrast is so delicate and pretty.
Hope you don't get too much snow today.

Two lovely makes Tracy, your first is such a lovely mystical scene and your CB make has such warmth to it showing that Spring isn't that far away xxxxxx
I love....love, love, love your dragon card. It is so colorful and magical creating the sparkly hills and the castles floating in the clouds. The dragons are perfect! The se ond card is sweet and peaceful with a great rendering of a soft card but equally artistic. You are so talented! It must be hard to have to homeschool. I'm glad your husband and daughter came home safe and sound. I hope to make couple of cards today. I talk movies but started with card making and will focus more on this hoping to post every week.
Wow, stunning dragon drama, totally special creation!
And another lovely flowery card.
And about the snow, we got it;-))m
Home schooling is tricky, you're doing a great job!
I saw on the news your weather was bad - as if lockdown and home schooling wasn't enough lol!
A beautiful scene with such rich colours. Your CB make is so delightful.
Wow, what a fabulous SS card or should I say masterpiece, just amaising, I can't take my eyes of it.
Your CB card looks so very delicate with a lovely background and love the way you have done the butterflies.

Online home schooling (in Italy DDI) is a total disaster for all us. It's no school and hope that it doesn't become "the normal" in the future.
Both your cards are fabulous, the fantasy one looks really dramatic and full of details. Love the colourful scene. The one for CB is very different, so delicate with the colour wash background and the beautiful decoupaged butterflies!
A beautiful fairytale scene with the dragons Tracy. Lovely colours! Your second card is gorgeous too, a lovely elegant look with the thistels and butterflies. Marlies

We have had hardly any snow yet, certainly none to cause disruption. Home schooling must be a nightmare Tracy, so much for the children to deal with right now and you are doing a great job with Bobby xx
Your cards are beautiful, loving all the colour and stamping and the bottom card just comes to life with those butterflies.
Stay safe x Susan x
I do hope the weather conditions have now improved, it can be very disruptive to us in the UK as we are just not used to it. Your first card certainly takes me off to warmer skies, like a magical fairytale kingdom, magnificently designed. Your second is a vintage beauty, with it's butterflies taking rest. Would look amazing framed. Thank you for sharing these inspiring creations.
Stay safe, cosy and creative Tracey x
Your dragon and castle card is absolutely magical Tracy! The butterflies look almost real in your second piece. Vicky x
