Pink Poppies & Vintage Florals

Welcome to my blog, it's a new month for Stamping Sensations and We Love Chocolate Baroque challenges, if you didn't get the chance to join in last month's challenges these could be the ones for you.

At Stamping Sensations this month the theme is 'For A Lady'  First I created a background using oxides in two colours, then over stamped using Inky Script, I put some twine around it  I stamped the postcard image on some seperate card, inked it up then stamped again coloured and cut the flowers out.  I decoupaged the flowers. I added a sentiment, a mini bulldog clip, and a wooden butterfly.  Everything was edged in gilding wax.

We have a  £25 store voucher for this month lucky winner from one of our lovely regular sponsors:-

And of course, the Design Team have created some stunners to inspire you. Please do pay them a visit to their individual blogs - it means a lot to know you appreciate their efforts.

And now onto my second challenge creation for We Love Chocolate Baroque, where the theme is 'Beautiful Blooms'
Using Oxides I created a background by smooching the ink on acetate then applying to the card, I stamped the |Poppy image and coloured with Distress inks, this base card was coloured with oxides and then splashed with water.

Our prize:-
Is the winners choice of an A4 Chocolate Baroque stamp set, or stamps to the same value. We will also be on the lookout for our next Featured Designer selected from entries using Chocolate Baroque stamps.

You created a lovely Vintage feel to the first card Tracy and the one with Polygon Poppy is beautifully soft and feminine and so special knowing where the inspiration came from.

I am always amazed by your beautiful oxide backgrounds Tracy. Your first card is simply stunning with the rustic feel and gorgeous flowers, and the second one is so different from the first but gorgeous nonetheless in a bit of a CAS style. Beautiful flowers on both!

Love the vintage vibe to your first card. I have that postcard stamp and never thought to use it like this, it looks so lovely.
Your second card is just so pretty and soft and subtle - it would look perfect in a frame on the wall.
