This is my first post for February for Chocolate Baroque, and I have picked one of my Favourite stamp sets Thistle Butterfly. So I went for a layered up look on this one, I started by stamping the image onto a light smooching of Distress Oxides. I coloured the image with Distress Inks and decoupaged the Butterflies, and around the edge I used some gilding wax.
I did three more layers Gilding each one around the edge after smooching with Oxide inks. The final layer I stamped with Distress Ink in my all time favourite colour, Seedless Preserves using the Large Crackle Background.
This is for the following challenges:-
1. Creative Knockouts - #438 - Lots Of Layers
2. Crafts Galore Encore - #96 - Anything Goes
3. Creations In Pink - #42 - Anything Goes In Pink
I will be back later in the month with another Chocolate Baroque creation made for you to see.
Happy crafting

Beautiful card Tracy ... love the whole look of it and especially the gilding which is something I've never tried. Love your colour scheme too ... Seedless Preserves was one of my first DO's and I wasn't sure about it at first as I had been expecting a more "blue" shade of purple, but it looks fabulous here and very inspiring
