Good Morning bloggers, It's time for a new challenge today at Oldie But A Goodie
This week is our lovely Helen's turn to host and she would like to see 'Spots & Stripes'
I love anything with spots, and decided to use some freebie Milton & Co papers I haven't used yet. They went perfectly with this Wild Rose Studios stamp, this penguin is so cute.
Don't forget to head over to Oldie But a Goodie for all the details of this challenge, to see the super prize that is on offer to the winner from Crafty Sentiments Stamps and to check out all the fabulous inspiration from my very talented team mates.
Remember to be in with a chance of winning You must use something that must be at least 6 months old.
Now onto my proud mum moment, my youngest son bobby, plays football for the Hunslet Boys Club, he's so proud to have made it on to the team. He trains every Thursday and Saturday and then there's matches on a Sunday. They've had six matches so far and there team have done very well with only one loss.
This week Bobby was made Captain and given an armband to wear, his little face lit up and he really stepped upto the mark, he gave instructions and had all his players in the right places, not bad for an under 7's team at all.. Here he is:-
It was so cold, so until the kids actually went on the pitch they wore trackie bottoms and gloves etc...... Then off the warm clothes came and the little troopers played in shorts and shirts and never moaned once. Bobby's team won 15-1 to Glen Juniors, what a win!!! Bobby plays either mid field or defence, he prefers defence though, he was described by one of the Dads watching and supporting the other team as a little pitbull, he's not scared of getting stuck in, LOL!
Below is two pieces that have been wrote by Bobby's coach onto the clubs website mentioning Bobby's performance
Report
Today I was very proud of every single player that went to play for Hunslet.
I feel we scored lots of goals and all the goal scorers did very well, however we also stopped Glen from playing. This was down to every player chipping in and giving 100%.
Little Bobby stood out to me today as he took being captain very seriously and became a man ; ).
We have clearly had a good da but we never know what Horsforth will be like so lets take one match at a time and give the same effort next week.
Well done everybody including Matthew and Harry who worked when well called on even which took concentration.

Bobby played like Gary Cahill, Joleon Lescot and Jagielka all in one.
Keep up that grit and determination and the World Cup 2020 could be lucky to have him.
Sorry just really needed to brag, we are so proud and best of all he was proud of himself.
